Do you save yours?

I find 3rd party packaging superior to much of Hasbro's packaging in every way. So far I've kept my boxes of Hegemon, Ironhide, Brawn, and Wheelie. I find them to be much more unique and creative, as they should be given they are made by many different smaller companies. Giant's is another good example. The box alone is phenomenal in my opinion.

I do also save Hasbro's cardbacks, MP and reissue boxes, and such. The 3rd parties are excellent additions I am happy to have in my collection.

 

I buy loose/used because it's cheaper, and I don't have to worry about packaging

 

I save almost all if not all third party packaging. My favorite thus far is probably green Giant's. It looks beautiful. I'm also a fan of Perfect Effect's boxes.

 

I keep it all neat in a tote in storage.

 

I don't keep my HasTak stuff but I do have every 3P box.

 

yep, I save all my 3rd party packaging. The best in my collection are Igear Specialists and Giant Type 61

 

Save it. Some may laugh but I think BTS Sonicron had very nice packaging if not my favorite so far...

 

Huh, I don't really think much of 3rd Party figure's boxes. I mean, the ones I do remember are usually just boxes with little detail or colour contrast with a picture of the character on a rather plain backdrop. I can't remember any snazzy designs or colourful, eye-catching layouts off hand. *searches*

 

I keep all my 3P and Masterpiece packages... just for storage and resale purposes (have practically half a room of empty boxes). Some are very pretty, but I couldn't care less really.

 

I defo keep it if I think I might resell it. I tried keeping them and it became ridiculous. I think those huge mp boxes ruined it for everyone else and I tossed everything when I last moved.
Now that I think about it, third party boxes are usually pretty small...the largest I can think of recently is pp05 and the coneheads. I bought the giant sets separately so not sure how big GG's box is.

 

I keep it. My house is starting to look like the back of a UPS truck.

 

So far, yes. I really like 3P packaging because I find it's the best way to transport them around for show and tell and stuff. Because of the mone spent on them, I'm more concerned with making sure they don't get ruined in transit, so I save 3P boxes.

 

I keep all my Transformers packaging, Hasbro, Takara or 3P, plus certain other lines packaging, like import stuff.

I do not recommend doing this.

 

There's a practical reason for saving the packaging, and that's for resale.

 

It's not all great, or better than what Hasbro puts out, but a lot of it is, and it's such an interesting diversity of styles that I tend to really appreciate them and save them.

My favorite so far is the box that Uranos Phantom came in.

 

i cut that shit to pieces and save the artwork. i think the only boxes i still have are MP-04L and MP-05. but, if i think i might sell it i hang onto the box.

 

For deluxes and voyagers I just keep the back with all the tech spec and info on the figure. All other oxes I usually keep.

 

I have many 3rd party boxes I can't give away for free. I can't bear to throw them out, but I really want them gone.

 

I keep them because... I don't know why. I guess just in case I do decide to sell stuff. I really don't care about packaging though.
