This one is cool, but I wish a little more work had been put into the head.
He scales perfectly with the combiners. I think he's just right.
Lol, and this 3D printed one is? Honestly it looks horrible.
It is any size you want it to be if you the file and ability to print.
Okay, so you can have an ugly inaccurate Omega Supreme as big as you want...
Well i wouldn't worry about it. I was half tempted to design a g1 toon omega to print myself but the likelihood of someone making one is quite high i thought.
TFWiki lists Omega Supreme's height in G1 as ~18m tall
At the scale of Magic Square Optimus (~1:54) he should be about 33cm tall
MFT Huge Dragon is 23cm tall
That's pretty far out of scale IMO
MS Optimus is irrelevant to MFT Omega.
Omega is usually shown as a couple heads taller than Devastator. Since MFT did a 1:1 KO of DX9 Hulkie, as his nemesis, they made their Omega to scale to that figure, and it's just right.
The recent Hasbro titan Omega is about the same scale to the Hasbro titan Devastator.
Your "scale" is all over the place.
I'd rather it have it scale with most legends figures, rather than one DX9 set from a few years back
Why would MFT scale their Omega to MS Optimus when they have their own?
True true. Let's do it again with the scale of their Prime, then.
MFT HS02's height: 4.7 inches, or 11.94cm
G1 Optimus Prime height: 6m, or 600cm
Scale = 600/11.938 = 1:50.26
G1 Supreme height: 18m, or 1800cm
1800/50.26 = 35.81cm
MFT Supreme height: 23cm
That doesn't make the scale any better. In fact, at that scale, it's a further 3cm off than it was with MS Optimus.
i say scale is in the eye of the beerholder or beholder. what works for you might not work for some or some wouldn't bat an eyelash.
I mean, he wanted clarification:
Right on both counts. But how has an Omega discussion gone this far and nobody's mentioned KBB Devastator? Whoever makes an Omega to scale with him is going to make a fortune. Works great with Devastator, chug combiners, legends... The custom sized 3d printed Omega is a good idea, but not quite Omega enough for me.
he can be huge and he can be not so big. everybody happy
yet another good old
Oh wait you were right. It doesn't matter anyway, who cares?"
I think it's more of a case of you being far more invested in this than anyone else that has commented. So... good job! You win! Way to go! Yay!
