Paid him for Ultra Magnus and Reximus Prime F&F. Just wrote to me and said would refund but couldn't because PayPal wouldn't let him.
hes giving me that run around too. I just said just send me a F&F payment for the amount I paid and be done with it but havent heard back now... no more Friends and Family ever for me on this forum
No offense to anyone here, but he only had 2 positive feedbacks before today. Sending as F/F is always a crapshoot, but at least utilize it on a member who is well-established, not one with such a small feedback number total. Also, Paypal will never disallow someone to refund money except in basically one instance - and as you can't "refund" gifted money per se, it just means his money is gone and isn't sending it - or he was hit with multiple cases all at once and needs to be able to deposit the entire amount of the pending cases into Paypal before they will allow him to send any more to another account. That's really the only time they shut someone down. When you contact Paypal, be sure to mention that this seller required a F/F payment, and be ready to show some proof. That will show them he was acting against Paypal policy, and may afford you normal buyer protection and a refund, regardless if the seller has the funds or not.
Im extra screwed. Part of the payment my with my paypal balance so thats non disputeable. I mentioned and provided proof that he required F&F so they will look into his account but wont refund anything at all. I disputed the part that came from my bank with my bank but we will see what they say what a freaking mess. any admins wanna chime in on this and maybe disable his account and fully ban him?
Finally got a refund, but still would not recommend due to the fact that I had to publicly voice my issues here for me to even get a response after a week
I recommend everyone whose been affected hit the report button (if you haven't already), if nothing else the mods need to be made aware of this.
I don't understand you guys in the first place --- this HotTruck469 only has 34 posts in more than a year here, and didn't even bother put a picture with his Avatar... apparently he didn't care much for this hobby...I would never deal with this kind of person with FF in Paypal.
To make this even better, he left a negative feedback for @djmajin due to "drama" - gotta say, that's pretty bold LoL
