I know many people despised BM, but I really enjoyed it. I'd like for a company to do a series of redesigned and appropriately scaled Beast Machines figures. Hasbro totally jumped the shark on those figures back in the day and the scale was all over the place. I remember my Nightscream figure took up an entire shelf by himself with his 11" wingspan and the rest were just a total mess. I know it will probably never happen but we all have wishes.

 

Beast Machines was an odd toy line, mostly because Transtech and Beast Hunters were both scrapped relatively late in the game.

The show characters were indeed a mess, but the non-show guys were largely fantastic. Night Viper, Hammerstrike, and Battle Unicorn were all great.

I’d be up for a good Silverbolt and Savage/Noble, but I have my doubts you’d find any takers for Nightscream.

 

I had the Silverbolt figure from BM and he was maybe deluxe class but was really more legends scale..LOL

I think they can start with Cheetor that big toy Hasbro made is not so bad. Maybe they can shrink it to Voyager size and improve upon it.

 

Beast Machines had horrible scales, almost none of the figures worked with each other, then the colors they chose for the figures was truly awful. And they often looked off from TV series character designs. It also didn't help that half of them couldn't stand, they always fell over. Dan Didio told the writers they could more or less ignore the previous continuity. Which further annoyed fans of the old series.

So the poor toys more or less killed the series as even fans of the show didn't really want to buy the figures.
Also G1 Nostalgia was at an all time high at the time. People really wanted vehicles back.
When they ported over Car Robots as Robots in Disguise and they sold like hotcakes the fate of the Beast characters was sealed.
(It also cost far less to just bring over or team up with japan to make the cartoons than to produce the CG animated Beast series)

 

Best BM Cheetor was from the Titanium line

I think I would KILL for a MP version of Jet storm . I’d be totally down for all the designs though. I personally loved the show ( although I know many hated it ) . It’s still irks me about Rhinox.

 

Beast machines is my favorite series and while I know it would be tough to get these designs right it, I'd really loooove to get some figures.

mmc did do a redesigned obsidian and strika, i would love for them to do the other 3 vehicon generals at a minimum

 

SAVAGE NOBLE. The original toy did surprisingly well, a good 3P figure with a budget could knock it out of the park.

 

not as show accurate in the colors department, but id argue universe night slash cheetor is a better bm cheetor

MMC already has a head start with their amazing strika and obsidian.

buuuut, if someone really wants to start strong, they'd start with Botanica and the Diagnostic drone. 2 characters that never got toys in the orignal line.

Agreed. The only one I kept was my Rattrap which has been out of Rat mode once.

 

Yeah the Rhinox reveal was a real downer. On the flip side it did a lot to show the power of influence that Megatron had develop and how powerful he had become.
