Yeah man, the original was by Toy World called Leia and I understand there may have been a break away group that formed Zeta Toys that took the design and essentially just repainted it in these colours. The figure is Zeta Toys EX-05 ARC.

I need to get back to using Photoshop!! I have GIMP, which is a pretty good PS clone...

DINOBOTS DEMOLISH DEVASTATOR!!

 

Hoho! This is my first time owning the mold, I honestly really like Sovereign's alt mode, I realise it's not perhaps as convincing as DX9's, but it's solid as a brick, hides the robot, fun transformation (apart from shoulders), plus it reminds me of the original toy a lot.

 

Maybe a bit early but now I know X-transbots Motormaster will be after Christmas here we are.


The top shelf has now opened up. Hopefully I can get them all displayed without looking too squashed up.

Hey sorry I missed this,

I just used some puck lights and double sided stickey tape. They use 3 AAA batteries each. They definitely make it look nice but fairly expensive operate. So far I usually get about a week of operation before I have to change them out and that's 24 batteries in one shot.

A wired setup world be more ideal.

Yes, X-Mas came early today as I confirm receipt of my TE-01 Op Leader!

I had little time to mess with the figure, but did find ten or fifteen minutes to swap out the head!



In so doing, I dropped the new head and it now has a speck of lost paint by the forehead vents. Hopefully, I can find an appropriate Sharpie or some other pigment application... perhaps Testors paints?

Anyhoo... it's a very small speck, and I pride myself on not being easily vexed.



So far though... this guy gets my endorsement!! Eat yer matrix out MP-44!!

@Necrobot Hope to see you do a skit between TE01 and Good Ol' MP10 battling it out for your shelf/Collection!.

 

Hmmm... It definitely could happen.



Not sure who would win.

MP-10 is a brute!! But, there are limits to his "brute-ness" I mean... he's not exactly FT Stomp or GP Grassor... but, a bit of a 9.5 inch tank with the primitive articulation.




But TE-01 has articulation and balance in his favor. And he's not exactly emaciated. 'Op Leader' certainly has presence!





Who needs 'cell shaded' windows?



I had never heard of TransformElement prior to 'TE-01 Op Leader'... but now, after a closer look under the hood... I won't soon forget them.

If they do a metallic paint version of this guy, I'm gonna have a problem.



As for MP-10 vs TE-01... so far, I can't believe how much I am loving this figure! While I wouldn't exactly chuck my ol' MP-10... 'TE-01 Op Leader' might just wind up in the top shelf of the center detolf.
