Beautiful Set Up!! Really Striking!!
So what are your plans for combating dust?!
I plan to use a small air compressor that I use to clean my pc and a swiffer thing to dust the shelves.
I happened to find these shelves on amazon random, I’ll post some links and a write up once I get them finished and get some pictures. They look nice and aren’t super expensive.
@zgbsn721 Hey also a good tip for your figure maintenance is to go to your local $1 Store or a Daiso and buy a cheap make-up brush to dust off your figures. It works like a charm but you may wanna bring your Wife/GF/Daughter/Niece along as the chick looked @ me strange as I bought about $5 worth of brushes lol.
Same here. Sovereign and Quietus look amazing, but it just doesn't add up in my mind. I wish TF never went to the year 2005. Even if it did gave us amazing stories.
I bought Quietus for his ability to swap over to an IDW-style Cyclonus, but bought Sovereign for my love of the movie. Season 3 of the show never did it for me.
Getting there, still have some stuff to unbox and transform. Then get everything posed up.
Of all the shelves the season 2 Autobots seem the least cohesive (Blaster happy lives with Season 3). Decepticons all come together well, The season 3 Decepticon & Autobot all feel like a group, The Dinobots are spot on and somehow the Season 1 Autobots blend with each other. If Omega Supream fit on the shelves that would take care of it as a central leader but as is it feels like a jumble!
They still look good. Are you holding out for FT Beachcomber. What do you think of Neptune and BC's Hoist? Those are a few holes for my season 2 cast.
Cheers. He's slipped in to Season 1 turf. Neptune and BC's Hoist are both decent especially Hoist's alt mode. Think I'd be tempted by Fanstoys BEachcomber 2.0 though.
Sounds good. I was all set to get Neptune and then I saw FT is doing Spindrift 2.0. Just wondered if I should just go with Neptune.
Got some clear plexi stands this week and did a bit of shuffling of deck chairs today.
Big bots and samurai and ninja bots... cleared out enough space for new incoming bots.
Minibots and Autobot racers. Magnus is there because I don't know where to put him. Can't wait for FT Warpath and Brawn to show up next year.
Movie bots, Dark Source and some Mandalorian...
Some of the priciest figures and they're displayed like trash at the moment... not sure where they fit in...
3A DLX Blitzwing and Prime are coming, so Bee's moving back to the movie shelf. The Dark Source stuff will need its own shelf soon.
Might move Drift back to the samurai shelf and place Galvatron with Six Shot, toon Quietus (if I ever open it up) and XTB Andras (pre-ordered the new re-issue).
The Prime's still don't fit anywhere... maybe MP-44 with Magnus and the FT Aerialbots? GT OP.EX with the GT Protectobots?
I had this huge open space on top of a large wardrobe that made a perfect location for my Dinobots. I added a shelf on top that works well to get these Decepticons their own spot.
Apologies for the s*** pictures.
Wow, beautiful work. I would buy that colored QuakeBlast in a heart beat. I have the original and am glad they went toy deco first, but that looks swell as well.
Very smooth looking display.
I don’t have preceptor so not me.
Crosspost from the Sovereign thread.
Additionally, he looks great alongside MS-01X, with that metallic finish.
Man I love those shelves! May I ask where you bought them from?
Counting the Countachs
Just reposed my entire collection... back to the boring standing poses.
Did Blurr took a wrong turn?
