Here's what I have thats 3P that fits in well with a CHUG/CW/POTP/TR etc collection

    MMC

    Tyranttron (megatron)
    Tarn
    Kaon
    Vos
Override (kinda sorta a little too big)
    Impactor
Kinda sorta Lockdown, he's a bit too big, but a fun figure

    Planet X

The Dinobots, but Swoop is a little too small
    FOC Ultra Magnus

    Perfect Effect

Ginrai Cab for TR PM Optimus
    Optimal Optimus

    Maketoys

    Swerve
    Tailgate
    Cyclonus add on
    Devestator

    Unique Toys

    Blaster
Predaking (the individual bot modes are a little weak, but the combined mode is great)

    igear

    Sharkticons
Beachcomber (he fits in but I prefer POTP Beachcomber)

    Toyworld

Goldbug (the other throttlebots are just too big)
Megatron (but he is a bit dated and you'll prefer Siege Megatron over Hegemon)

    ITF

FoC Upscaled KO of Optimus Prime

    KFC

    All of the cassettes

    Fansproject

Protector armor to turn CHUG Hot Rod into Rodimus Prime

    Impossible Toys

Almost everything they make is in the right scale for a CHUG collection, but they don't have the details we're used to. The only one I would recommend now is the Quintesson and you can get the KO REALLY REALLY cheap and its a good figure

its a 3d printed figure, but i'd say power full figures pff-04 break and shake is most definitely a chug compatible rack 'n' ruin figure and should be added to the list. its fully weaponizer compatible and transformable

Forgot this guy when I uploaded my list. If you can get a decent copy Megasteel Granville. Most reviews have not so nice things to say. My copy is one of the better ones released, so I know better copy's exist.

Thanks to this thread I was able to get my Season 1 & 2 Minibots complete to go with my Siege collection :)
Here's what I picked up besides Hasbro/Takara Legends Minibots:
    • Kubianbao MCS-02 Hornet's Agent (Legends scale Bumblebee/Upscale + modification of NewAge Flipper)
    • Mech Planet/Hot Soldiers HS-15 Mini Car Giftset (Legends scale Cliffjumper)
    • Mech Fans Toys MS-02 Engineer (Legends scale Huffer)
    • Mech Fans Toys/Mechanic Studio MS-16 Rocke (Legends Scale Gears)
    • Iron Factory IF-X28 Burning Slug (Legends scale Warpath)
and to weaponize them all (except Cosmos for now), I got the set from Dr. Wu weapons for Has/Tak CHUG Minibots.

These are my very first 3P Transformers and I must say I'm super impressed by the quality of these 3P figures! :D
Scale wise they aren't perfect, Warpath should be a bit taller, Gears a bit shorter, but I'm ok with it because 'Burning Slug' and 'Roche' are awesome!
As for Bumblebee; 'Hornet's Agent' is great but is a little too wide/bulky and tall to really fit in for my taste. Unfortunately I missed the boat for HS-09 Minicar and he is too expensive now imo but I feel he's not perfect either. 'Hornet's Agent' will be my Bumblebee until a better version comes out.

We need a Siege/deluxe-sized Master Thread!

We talking scale or aesthetic here? Because purely on scale, MP10V fits. He has that extra height so that a Prime Wars voyager doesn't outsize him. As for his MP engineering, there's nothing overly complex about his transformation. I haven't had anything break and I have transformed him many times. It's his MP appearance that makes him stand out like a super G1 accurate sore thumb next to CHUG. Or at least older Classics. The Siege line and its goal of G1 accuracy should be making that less of a concern. For me, it never was an issue. I use MP10V and MP Grimlock and have no problem if those two outshine any others with their MP aesthetic.

id say that a qualifier would be is there a megatron that scales with him? because if there isnt then he cant really be considered chug scale. he always seemed a bit too large to me personally

the closest is honestly probably unique toys soundmixer, he's more siege voyager sized, but depending on your overall collection he might size up decently with deluxes

Toyworld Hegemon, CW Megatron, and Zhan Jiang Mechanic Master scale with him. All three weren't really for me, but I've seen other CHUG collections do it. For my tastes, it's Siege Megatron with some hip extenders and possibly in the future the Shapeways torso extension, more for better proportions on Megatron individually than scale (although admittedly it would probably improve it).

MP10v is the same size as Toyworld Orion and if the Cool Become Brave down-scaled CW Devastator/Constructicons can be included then surely MP10v deserves to make the list. I'm a fairly new collector so correct me if I'm wrong but to me CHUG is hardly cohesive. It spans a number of different lines which use/used a range of different proportions and a rough scale. For some, Classics doesn't scale with Siege and others mix and match. To me, the Mechanic Master Megatron above looks like a chunky mess too large for my CHUG collection but to some other collectors it works and far be it from me to say they're wrong. When I started collecting threads like these were particularly helpful to me to find my available options so I could make an informed decision. The goal here should be to include as many options as possible rather than narrowing the list to a particular sub section of CHUG.

MP10V WAS a no brainer until Siege downsized the Voyagers (even though classics prime is just as short). If you have the aforementioned Megatrons...they don’t look out of place for CHUG ... but Hegemon and that other aren’t as...clean and articulated...as Siege Megatron.

I’m selling my Hegemon because I didn’t like handling it. So MP10v has no pairing with me atm. A quick note on Soundmixer...he’s a near perfect Blaster for Siege. If you can get him, I would.

    I really like this thread!

I just started adding some 3p to my chug collection, and with my lack of knowledge about what’s out there this thread has been really useful.

Recently I’ve gotten Striker Manus and Rioter Despotron.

I also ordered Planet X Vulcan and MMC Terminus Hexatron.

I’m going for more of a cybertronian look for my chugs, in part so that I can use some of my Seige bots with them. If there are any recommendations along that theme that anyone has I’d be happy to hear them.

I’m a little worried that Terminus Hexatron may be a little dated at this point, when I ordered him a couple hours ago I didn’t realize he was released in 2013. Do you guys think he still holds up?

Has there been any new products released?
