Sorry, injection isn't going to happen anytime soon with these parts.

My parts aren't like shapeways with that weird grainyness, they are true plastic bonded together in layers. It's a completely different process than what they use.

I've been told many, many times that my parts look and feel FAR better than shapeways.

As a regular customer, I support this assertion. The Jetfire kit has an almost styrene finish.

The Jetfire set has design details that show on the surface, the plastic is as smooth as something you'd find processed in a mold, and it's just as strong, if not stronger.

It fixes all of the glaring holes in Jetfire's body, well worth the $12+ you'll be paying. Seriously.

do you have the ability to do a scan/print of windows for MP-10? I'm ok with normal plastic (non-translucent) so I can paint them.

Ooooo...now this is intriguing, especially Jetfire, Brainstorm, and Metroplex. MegaMoonMan, will you be doing any filler pieces for Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus?

I already have a black kit made up for Thundercracker, but interest has been near zero. If you want it, I got it.

    I doubt it, I think he's mostly fine as-is.

I may be interested in the Metroplex knees, but I don't see any replacement parts for his hips. Do you know where I can get some? My Plex leans forward a bit and I'm worried about him collapsing.

EDIT: Is it just the above the knee swivel or is there a part for the knee bend too? I need some parts to improve his stability. Well, I may want those hands, those are just really cool!

Sorry, missed this post. My knee parts add a swivel below the knee. If you look at my pics and see the new black part in his knees, that is actually two parts with a swivel joining them.

To fix the hips I would just take them apart and stretch the springs a little, or add a spacer to make them fit tighter.

Here are some new pics of the current gen of Metro parts. They have gone through several design upgrades. All shown is what you get with the full metro kit.

First, the ramp system. Two sections are standard. My system is designed to be expandable, I also have the rotating ramp sections available (not shown).

I thought I remember reading somewhere that the new knee joints helps with meteoplex's whobbly knee syndrome.

Don't want to read all 76 pages again, does the new joints make plex a lot less sturdy/tight in that area?

    Hi MMM,

Just wanted to say thank you! I received the ramps and knees, they are awesome!!

Great quality and incredible smart design, I'll post a picture soon!
Only issue I had was that of the 3 ramps I ordered I received only 3 sliders, I thought they should be 4, but no biggie, it still works awesome!!

The new knees hold the spring tighter than the original parts, so the joint is a bit stiffer.

Glad you like them. Not sure what happened to the fourth slider, it should have been in there since I make them in pairs. If you want it replaced just let me know.

    Sorry for the bump

Are the Metroplex parts still available?

And do the knees make him more stable?

Yes and yes (they compress the knee spring a little more than the original).

On an unrelated note, I'm now offering one of these FP M3/Menasor black emblem blocks free with every order (Just make sure you request one when you order. You have to provide your own emblem sticker and M3.)

Due to software upgrades and hardware tweaks I am now printing smaller parts at a much higher resolution at the same prices - as an example see the jetfire arm parts below. On the left is the higher resolution, right is what I was doing before. MUCH better. This is .1mm vs .3mm layer height. The print lines are barely visible to the naked eye.

I still have to do giant parts like metro knees at the .3mm resolution, since they will take way too long at .1mm layers, but I am doing parts like the metro hands at a higher resolution of .2mm. Most small parts will be made at .1mm from now on.

I got my order today, and it's everything promised!
Well, I assume... I've not actually installed the Metroplex stuff yet, but the others are fun.

Smart Robin faceplate is great, and the briefcase amused me way more than I thought it would. I was a little worried about Grapple's crane mount, since it looked like it was pinned in, but it's not and once it came free from the bushing holding it, the mod was super easy and looks really good.

My newest design - a color 3D printed windvane for Carry. It has to glue on due to there being nothing to latch onto, but it does not affect transformation, it tucks up behind his back along with the windshield. I got the idea from someone that cut up a G1 Rodimus one to fit - I figured people might want one without having to chop up an old toy.

    $4 plus shipping.
