I am starting to take the first steps towards creating something I have wanted to do for a long time. A few years ago, I found out about the Transformers playset from Warren. It's going to be slow going and I'm going to make a few mistakes, but I intend to get a fun little playset out to everyone. Here's the progress I've made so far. I was able to get one of the computers on the second floor room printed out. Excuse the use of two different color filaments. Just wanted to use up the rolls. I also have a few fun little things planned for the playset. Light up panels, removable weapons, working elevator, etc. If anyone has any HQ images of screens from the playset, advice, criticisms, etc. I would love to hear from you.
Had this playset as a kid. Lots of fond memories playing with it in the basement. Can't wait to see your work!
This is based on a different playset, the creatively named Transformers Activity Center. They’d be incredible side by side though.
I was able to squeeze out a few minutes to work on the playset today. I extended the left wall just a bit on level two and three, extended the floor out to match the wall on level three, and got a monitor mounted to the wall. Getting something two dimensional to work in three dimensions is a bit tricky for my old brain, but slow and steady.
That's awesome, I always wanted that when I was a kid, and didn't get it when i had the chance. Looking forward to see it completed.
I scrapped my attempt a few weeks ago (never got out of the 'walls' stage). Yours looked way better anyway!
Wow, this bring back memories. We had this. My brother and I almost never used it for Transformers, but it served as a fortress for all kinds of other action figures Definitely curious to see how this turns out. zmog
