Ok, @AutobotSparklight, using the dimensions Chaos Convy posted, You'll have to turn off uniform scaling in Cura ( assuming thats the slicer you're using)
    you'll need H 63.82% L 62.21% and D 90% for them to match kingdom size

Thanks, so for G! the scaling would be W75.1% H76.59 and D 80%
    wait......
......so Kingdom cassettes are smaller than G1? Dang!

Oh, nice, thank you for the exact percentages! I'll give printing him one more go with that scaling when I've got some time.

Here are my G1 Steeljaw and my Kingdom Eject to show the size difference. According to TFwiki, this Eject will fit in Siege Soundwave's tape deck, so the cassettes should be similar in size, though I think his are slightly larger.

I'd love to get better with friction joints. Not something I've got the hang of yet. Mushroom pegs are ok. Got a few decent examples of them. Ball joints just become too loose too quickly in pla. The clip in joints elude me though if anyone happens to have good examples. Always have to sand loads of the pin bit off and they end up loose!

Good to know. So now I have a conundrum. I make mine oversized for a couple of reasons, 1st I design them more for display than for play, and 2nd it makes modelling easier. So do I bite the bullet and start modelling for seige/kingdom scale, or keep to the size I'm currently doing and just list the scale to fit seige/kingdom?

I'd say keep to the size you're currently doing and list the scale to fit Siege/Kingdom. The fact that they can be scaled as accessories for those figures is incidental to your actual purpose in creating them as figures meant to be displayed on their own, so I feel like just making a note of "Hey, you can scale these down to be compatible with Siege/Kingdom, just print them at X/Y/Z scale" is good enough for anybody looking for cassettes to print for that purpose.

The LiDAR in the new iPhone will also increase ur quality
I did try scans a while ago but the tech isnt just there to copy transformer parts etc just yet. Much easier to make something from scratch
Edit: i believe it’s 13 and up that has it

I think for iPhones, Polycam can make use of the LiDAR feature, but Android (Samsungs at least) lacks LiDAR so it's limited to photogrammetry.

A little side project I have been working on and off of is a 3d printed metroplex. Just finished the helmet today so I figured I'd show it off. upload_2022-9-4_17-42-0.png
The red block on the left is the average core class size for scale.

The plan for him is to scale with core class figures and be able to interact with them. He will also have titans return ramps and A.I.R lock system ramps on him. He will be able to transform into his city mode as well.

And here is the original Feedback concept.png art work .
As you can see, I had to adjust it a little to make it suitable for printing. All going well I should be running test prints over the weekend :)
