So I was working on my own version of leg extensors/reverse knee bend for legacy menasor that had soft ratcheted joint, but it's tough and was only part way through - was also designing knee cap Add-ons that would deal with the white joint when reversed - then I found on thingiverse a kind soul posted their own design for thigh extensions

Thigh Upgrades for Legacy Menasor by SummersideGuy

the level of design from someone that knows what they are doing makes my attempts look like a kid, but hey we all start somewhere.

They really give some real weight to the figure as all the ones so far (including my own) were spindly.

Printed these at the weekend and finished off my knee caps that slot into the ports correctly - still working out best gloss black to paint them so excuse the grey / silverish paint..

I was wondering if someone knows of anyone who can create a 3D connection piece. I put my ark in its horizontal position and now I have the mobile launch pad thing sitting by itself. I would like to connect my "Final Victory Huffer" and have it tow the ark mobile launch pad.
(the ark mobile launch pad is also know as "Kingdom Autobot Ark SL-110 Transport Vehicle Upgrade from Shockwave Lab")

The mobile launch pad does have connection spots on both sides of the silver top so it can connect to the newer Hasbro Omega Supreme Titan Class. And Final Victory has an MP10 port when it's hitch is in the up right direction. So it seems to me there is enough basic elements to bring these two things together. It would be nice for Huffer to have it's own thing to tow since most of us use prime to tow prime's trialer. Plus these two being basically the same yellow collor makes the idea of combining these two things logical. Anyhow, I have my Final Victory Huffer sitting in front of the mobile launch pad on my shelf and I'm hoping someone help me find a way to connect the two together.

Ideally I would like one connection piece for Huffer to tow the mobile pad directly.
And another connection piece so Huffer can tow the mobile pad with the Ark on top of the pad.

Snakebite and Aquashock are now done...well...still got to paint them, but as far as design and tweaking are concerned they're done lol. 20220826_183427.jpg 20220826_183615.jpg

Do they fit inside the chest of blaster or soundwave?

Unlikely, as they're a little oversized. Depending on which blaster/soundwave you'll have to scale them down. @AutobotSparklight, how much did you scale down my Steeljaw?

Sorry, just saw this! I scaled him down to 50%. He came out a bit undersized for the scale of my Kingdom Blaster, so I'd probably say 70-75% would come out about right for that scale? I've been trying to get started on printing a 70% scaled version myself to see how it looks, but my printer keeps screwing up the prints.

Depends on what Soundwave or Blaster you have. I don't own any version of soundwave or blaster. However going on what people have told me, scaling them down to about 70% should have them fit kingdom blaster. 75.5% total size should give you roughly the original micro cassette size. However, that is based on information that others have told me after printing my cassettes.

I've got Steeljaw 2/3 printed at 70% now, gonna be starting my print of the last batch of parts in a bit, so I'll be able to give a definitive answer about how that scaling fits with Kingdom Blaster tomorrow. It's looking pretty good to me so far, but I still need to print his right legs and actually put him together to know for sure.

So...turns out 70% is too big. I'm not printing a third one right now, but I think maybe 65% would be better for Kingdom Blaster? 70% turned out just slightly smaller than G1 Steeljaw. It's good enough for me, at least, even if it won't fit in his tape deck.

I beleve one of the people who shared a make on Cults said that he found 70.85% to be a match for g1 in size.

if you have the measurements for one of the Kingdom cassettes, I can probably start modeling for that scale. Thinking on it, if I knew the sizes of the cassettes from each incarnation, I could probably do a scale chart lol

Pins will be interesting at the various scales. Flat ended screws might be better. I bought a varied set of modelling brass pipes and they've been great for dealing with rogue 3d printing tolerances. Hole too tight, just use a smaller pin to either widen or just be happy with using smaller pin. Took so much pain out of the post processing.

@Chaos Convoy , thanks for that, that will be useful going forward.
@AutobotSparklight can you post the dimensions of a g1 cassette bot in tape mode?
@Fostorial, I actually want to try and make them as pinless as possible if I can, abit like I did for Ramhorn and Steeljaws legs. I know filament can be used on G1 scale tapes as my Ravage I did a couple of years ago was G1 scale, and that used filaments ro pin the knees and feet, so not too worried if I cant make them 100% pinless, but I'm gonna try lol.
