Been working on this over the past week. Finally finished it just a little while ago It's pretty much done. Just a couple things I COULD tweak but might not. I'll print it out within the next couple days to test it.
I've created replacement wheels for the Earthrise Datsuns. They fully cover the clip that attaches the wheels, and include three different wheel and tire designs to compliment each of the three Datsun Autobots. Wheels and tires print separately for easy color printing. Is that a clone or are there improvements? Actual feet and slightly longer legs would be a happy change from the original.
It's just a straight up copy of the actual toy, yeah. Same size and dimensions. I wanted it to be completely compatible with the WFC Soundwave toys. I'm not sure how I could improve on the design without a complete overhaul of the transformation and/or making it bigger. Feet are definitely possible. Making the legs longer other than adding fold-out feet similar to the MP would be asking a lot, though. I also MIGHT be able to get elbows on this sumbitch too if I put a slight sliding mechanism on the lower arms to get them to extend a bit. It's just that there's not a lot of room on this thing.
Flip down feet like the MP might be all it needs to have normal looking legs. There's even space for them in alt mode - like they were planning it at one point.
Just whipped these up this morning because I never did replace the swords I stole from Prime Dead End when I made my custom Legends Convobat out of Mindwipe and a 3D Printed Infinitus. I'll print 'em up eventually if I ever decide to repaint or customize Dead End. They're straight-up replicas, so they're just as dull as the original toys. I could make a set of sharp ones if anyone's interested, though.
Ok, so looks like my trusty Ender3 has actually died which suuuuuucks....still gonna keep making these bots though lol. Here's Mudskipper, the 2nd micromaster from the Offroad patrol group.
I've posted this guy I'm the customs forum but given he's 3d printed I figured I'd post him here too. He's a first stab at a small figure base figure, fairly bland by design, made out of a collection of parts. I intend to make the parts interchangeable with different versions of the base model which can be mixed and matched. One model might be a seeker, one might be a space shuttle and one might be this vaguely space ship looking fellow but you could take the legs from one, the body from two and the wings from three and it would in theory still transform and work. So here's model 001 alpha, a generic transformer roughly 2 inches tall. I'm busy printing him in different colours and assembling a new version and I'll post the files to thingiverse for remixing when I've had a few test runs. He's no glue but I've had to sand down the ball joints to fit correctly. Think that's more the small size and warping if the spherical shape though.

finished this faceplate last night. Designed to go on my Infinitus design but should theoretically be generic enough to work on some of my others as well
TY! I just finished these the other day too And this is for my custom Constructicon version of Siege Brunt I couldn't figure out how to remove the neck piece from the toy's head without destroying the head (I could use it for some other custom in the future, potentially) so I designed the entire shebang.
Finished a Bumper head I've been working on for Core Bee. Planning to put it up on my Cults page eventually, along with an upscaled version for WC Bee. I do, however, need some help test printing it; if you're interested please let me know, I'll send the files over.
Just posting some pics of some 3D printed upgrades. I didn’t design any of these other than the six gun arms/shoulder cannons for metroplex.
That's friggin awesome. I need to ask, do you plan on doing the same with eject/rewind when they're out?
