Ok, so everthing works and looks as intended, I decided on going with the G1 toy head, but Im going to do a cartoon accurate head that ypu can clip over the top. Other than that, just his sonar/gun thingies...yes thats a techincal term im using...even if it isnt....and see if I can add more details.

Belated Christmas gift for my cousin who's still rocking the 1/18 Marvel figures. This is why I don't typically care about transformation. It isn't fun for me to work on even though I can pull it off, and it forces compromises most of the time with what I want in a bot mode. How separated is the 5mm handle from the cup? I am thinking of Combiner Wars Shockwave that had a second gun grip in front of the 5mm grip and made it difficult for many figures to hold it as a gun.
That is cool! Reminds me of a Lego cup. Hmm, you know, that makes me wonder how many Lego pieces can be scaled to the TF sized.
Theoretically Legends figures could just use the Lego mug I think. Lego uses 3mm diameter for handles and 5mm for studs so resizeing would just be 1.66percent (I think?).
