Oh I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this, so I can buy one when it gets finished.

Nice use of the scattershot mold, my friend! This looks like it'll be a winner :)  I'm curious about the height in bot mode; have you upsized the parts from the Haztak figure?
And I hope your Hardball design gets a release eventually; he looks awesome!

It's quite a bit larger than the original. It'll be about 6 inches or 15 cm. Here's a reference picture.

This is really cool! Scattorshot was one of my first transformers I can distinctly remember and he was so much fun for a little guy, will you be trying to implement the key gimmick?

I'm definitely going to do the clip launcher missiles and the cyber-power missile rack will open up, I don't think it'll be spring loaded. I'm thinking of a way to have a gear mechanism that will rotate the panel up, but I don't know for sure.

Quick question along those lines, scaled up planet key or regular size?

Regular sized. And I’m not sure how easy it would be but maybe putting the key in just pushes a lever which when moves lifts the missle rack up. Probably easier than a gear mechanism

Almost done with the initial prototyping. I'm super stoked. Only the back pack and hand gun left to do. I am probably also going to re-work the shoulders a bit they are a little loose, but that's what prototypes are for right?

    Thanks!

Hopefully, you'll get your chance to pre-order some time next week.

I'll have a 30 day $50(US) early bird special on my Esty store through mid October (so you'll have the security of buying on a well known site). After that I'll try and get it out to BBTS and TF Source and the like for $65. I'll need about 500 orders to be able to afford the injection machine, so please help get the word out. So, hopefully I can do that. I know for a fact that other 3rd parties sell in the thousands of units so it should theoretically be possible. I hope to have product ready in December, but it might be first quarter next year. The sooner I hit 500 sales the sooner I can start doing R&D test shots and the sooner this bad boy will be in everyone's hands.

If all this works out, I'll document everything I've learned and I want to start some sort of educational site so I can help others start little side businesses of their own.

Keeping my eye on this for sure. Love supporting creative enterprises and I’d def be interested in supporting this.

I’ve gotten into 3D printing recently and started learning fusion 360 so I’m always thrilled to see the process of making things

Fusion is such a great program. I use it for all my models now. I switched from Solid Works years ago and haven't looked back. Not only does it do CAD modeling but it generates excellent CNC tool paths. Stick with it. I have some pretty big ideas planned for some of my own IP's I'm not quite ready to talk about, but if this all works out I'll be "sharing the wealth" so to speak with other like minded makers. ... and not just through education.
