My goodness man, it may be intimidating but you should try to get a deal with Hasbro...these are superior to those shampoo bottle figures in WalMart.

These are amazing! On average, how long does it take to print one of these?

As a 3d print enthusiast myself, I absolutely love this. It's something I have really thought about doing, as I am a G1 "er" and, like a lot of collectors display their tf's in bot mode anyway. But what I think would be awesome is to design the additional alt modes to display alongside the robot modes.

Wow. These are fantastic. I'm amazed at how spot on and poseable these are. And you're doing the *entire* g1 run? My wife is going to loathe you for giving me a reason to buy a 3d printer. :D

    Few questions:

What size is 1:38? I've never been good with scale in relation to figures. Head to foot, how tall is Optimus and how tall is Devastator? From those two figs I can figure out the rest.

How long does it take you to design these? Because they're really faithful right down to the heights so I imagine it must be challenging getting it so exact.

Last: how is it everyone except Hasbro themselves manage to get G1 Meg's head right? :D

Do you mean those fixed pose undersized figs or the 12 inch figs? Either way, yes, I would buy these in store no question.

The scale is 1:30. Optimus 20cm, Ironhide 16.4cm, prowl 14cm, bee 10cm, devastator 54cm, shockwave 18cm, starscream 16.4cm. Spent 1 week for regular figures, 3 weeks for devastator. If you wnt to match the size with masterpiece figure, resize it to 125%.

Oh these are a bit bigger than I thought. I thought they were like those 5 inch figs 3rd party put out. Nice! I notice you mentioned that scaling down to 3 1/2 inches wouldn't work. What would be the smallest you could scale these down to without an issue?

I'm sure this conversation/argument has happened before but, I know a lot of us tf fans like their transformers to transform, but for a display shelf, a toon accurate bot mode alongside a toon accurate alt mode that doesn't transform would be completely alright with me, both aesthetically and financially. I can only speak for myself but I have literally transformed my masterpieces back and forth twice at the most. Having a non transformable G1 accurate bot and vehicle mode on my shelf at the same time displayed together for a significantly lower price is something I would really support. All power to you, and to another great bot design with Jazz.
