Remember the catapult Springer had to use because he couldn't put off his night appointments? Well here it is! By golly did it take a bit of finessing it around to get it just right!

    Catapult01.JPG

One of the core ideas was to give it a loading action, so missiles can be loaded in from the read (as seen in the movie) and readied for firing!

This works when one missile has already been chambered, the next missile being loaded will push it forwards and upwards, ready to be launched on the rails.

    Catapult_Xray - Small.JPG

On the actual piece itself, it will look like this when loading up the second projectile ...

    Catapult03.JPG

... and allowing it to shove the first one onto the catapult's firing rails!
    Catapult05.JPG

From there, the rubber band powered launcher will zipper it forward ...
    Catapult07.JPG

... and hopefully take out any combiners of the decepticon persuasion front of it!

    Catapult08.JPG

As a small bonus, the missiles were all designed such that they can allow Siege effects to be pegged into them. Here's an example with one of the effects from Jetfire:
    Catapult10.JPG

    Fooooooooooooosh!
    Catapult13.JPG

This is quite the "interactive" piece so guess nothing can showcase it like a video can - so here's a quick one which demonstrates it:

Well, hope y'all like that! And if anyone's keen to grab it for 3d printing, here's the link - https://www.patreon.com/posts/37438302

    Thank you all, kindly!

Also in case anyone's wondering - because these are released as digital 3d print files, they can be resized before 3d printing too! ;)

That is brilliant! Any chance you could double the size? I know the Springer is a fairly big size, but it took 4 of them to push it in place. I would gladly pay for one twice that size. That is excellent work regardless!

These are so frickin' great. I love all these little projec- OH MY GOD HOW DOES THIS LOOK INSIDE METROPLEX/FORT MAX?

I'm just imagining one of Metroplex's leg-chamber-areas with this guy sitting inside and ...Action Master Devastator, maybe? on the other side of the wall.

EDIT TO ADD: ...and maybe an attachment that pegs into the bottom so Titan-class citybots could use it as a weapon?

Heh, this was released as digital 3d print files, so they can definitely be upscaled before printing! In fact, think a couple of folks are going to be doing just that :)

Thank you! It took a real bit of tweaking to get it to work so that was pretty cool to pull off...

OOoooo... perhaps if scaled down it may just work :p  But assembling it would be kinda a pain ... Hahah .. Will leave it as an exercise for someone to attempt.

Titan-sized shooting weaponry? Hmmmm.... Perhaps sooooooooooon.... ;)

Heh heh , thanks all! Truthfully, the mechanism was incrementally added on as a series of "Hey, waitjustaminute, it would be awesome if it also did this ......" =P

Maybe this could launch cheetos too? :D

That is awesome! Bonus kudos for making it actually fire the rockets.
