    my crit:
-i think the pose/proportions could be better, making the arms and legs open apart to the sides.
-the face sculpt (tho for the most part this is an issue of preference). the face looks matured, but a bit narrow for brawn.

good work on the maps tho. nice weathering effect.

Err, his whole body looks very rigid in terms of pose and he seems almost like he's floating. Also, you need to exaggerate your pose a bit more and maybe render out with a motion blur to get the effect of Brawn running. You might want to look at how people look when running. There are some other things as well in terms of lighting and texturing.

Thanks guys, I can certainly see now that he does look somewhat on a Sunday Jog to the post office...

Ill give the pose some serious work, the texturing was my first ever real go at doing my own so Im quite happy but will have to see what I can improve.

The lighting, I have to say Ive always been pretty shocking, Im working in Max 3 and Ive stuck an Omni in their with shadows casted. If you can give me any tips on that it would be great. I can never get the sunlight doowocky to work well.

Might try more detailing on him too...

    tips on sunlight:

use a directional target light, check the projection size.

use omni lights for highlighting, where shadows cast by directional reduce detail. switch of the shadow if ur using directional to simulate sunlight. play with the far attenuation to avoid the omni overpowering the directional light.
