    Bee is pushed? Gaaaaaaaah.

So Prime is on schedule to arrive 2017?!?! :p

This guy is gorgeous. I swore I wouldn't get him (and I probably won't). These just cost too much to be a completist and I have no idea where I'll put more than a couple. I'm getting the other three (although I don't know if I'll keep Megs or sell him off- I planned to wait and think, but with the hood I could't).

I do hope they do Shockwave. He'll be an instant buy.

this is the one figure that i said i'd get of theres.. wow, it's gorgeous.

i don't know why i love this design so much.. but i do.

looks like i'll have plenty of time to budget for it.

i really wish Takara would've given us a DMK version of starscream.. it sure as hell would save me a ton of money.

I can't believe there are people who don't like the movie designs.

You're thinking of some one else's Shockwave. One of the 3A designers on here said a while back that if it was up to him, he'd do Shockwave next after these guys, but that it wasn't really up to him.

Outside of that one comment 3A has given no indication of what might follow (and hasn't shown anything). They said they'd do these 4 figures and so far have made no public commitment to go any further.

I just happen to really, really hope they do Shockwave. He was one of my favorite movie designs and he's only had one toy that fell seriously short of greatness in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong- I would have been all about some more DMK- especially a ROTF Megs- but you don't think this guy is up to the task? I think leader Starscream was one of the best molds they produced and with the MP paint job he really shines. On top of that he's probably pretty close to the appropriate scale.

He isn't really DOTM, he doesn't have the tattoos.

Face is a little... mushy. Prime 1 did a better job in my opinion.

He looks awesome! Love the movieverse Starscream design, and I'm sure he'll look even more fantastic with his Cybertronian tats and Con insignia. I do find the detailing around the torso vents to be a little on the thick side (but I suppose making them any thinner would result in breakage), but other than that, sculpt seems dead on, particularly the weathered painted effects.

Can't say I'm surprised that the buzzsaw arm attachment is going to be a Bambaland Web exclusive but I already preordered Megatron and Optimus Prime (skipped out on Bee due to him being way out of scale with the other figures; I consider Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream to be the "Big Three" that are must-haves anyway) from there to get their exclusive hooded cloak and handheld cannon, respectively, and looks like I'll be doing the same with Starscream.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Starscream in-hand until early 2017, unfortunately, judging by all the delays with Bee.

As much as I love the HFTD Leader/MPM-1 mold, it's not as accurate in bot mode as it could be. This 3A/ThreeZero offering should come pretty close to the on-screen CGI design.

That is INCREDIBLE! Hot damn is that impressive and straight out of nowhere. We knew SS was coming at some point, but we haven't even really seen proper in-hand pics of Prime yet, so this is a shock. That looks amazing.

The news about Bee and presumably Megs and Prime getting pushed back is a huge bummer. I've only got Prime on order since Bee is too big and Megs looks flat out wrong, but still I'd love for these guys to be released soon.

i own both the hasbro and the takara "masterpiece" versions of leader starscream.. i like it and all.. but as a HUGE fan of his appearance in the movies, they're just not up to snuff.

the leader class figure misses the shape of the upper body, especially when it comes to the wing sections that stick out from behind his shoulders. those are way off and completely change his look.

i'm not too upset that there's no ankle articulation, though i would've liked some, i know a DMK set probably would've utilized an ankle joint.

one of my biggest complaints though is the lack of a wrist swivel. the gorilla arms can really kill an otherwise cool looking figure for me.

lastly.. i love building things. so, building a dual model kit version of starscream wouldn't have only left me with an almost perfect looking movie starscream, but it would've also been a ton of fun to put together.

i think, overall, DMK was HIGHLY underutilized. i would've killed for DMK versions of all of the movie characters.. super pose-able, super accurate, scaled versions of all of the movie characters would look incredible. and then you could display their mainline figures in alt mode in front of them.. ugh, i can dream lol.

anyways.. this 3A figure is beautiful.

Oh, right. I was confusing 3A with Prime 1. My bad x) But I'm so pissed at Prime 1 for not releasing Shockwave, did they cancel his production or what?
But, I agree. A 3A Shocwave would be GREAT! :D

Badass! Doritoscream Gorilla Arms McChicken Legs never looked so good. :D  Thanks for sharing these pictures!

I have the ROTF Starscream little keychain figure here in front of me at work and 3A/ThreeZero Starscream looks very much like the design, right down to the extra wide torso with the vented detail, the positioning of the wings, and the rocket thrusters on his back. Wonder what crazy poses this guy can get into.

It wouldn't be too bad if you'd pay the monthly fee.

Compare it to Prime-1's Starscream and you'll appreciate the price more
