I sent an email to 3A today so we will see what happens. Are they going to send me a new head? I'm not sure if I would trust myself to glue in a new plastic eye. It's such a small piece. Also, don't forget to fill out the warranty card and send a .jpg shot of the warranty card along with a .jpg of your proof of purchase to 3A. Pre-ordered the second batch just now! Pretty excited especially after seeing these in-hand images, they're awesome! Shame about some of the QC issues but luckily you guys can sort it out. A little jealous I couldn't get the first batch but oh well, won't have to wait long hopefully.

Just sent my replacement request. It's an easy part to send so hopefully they respond soon! Does anyone have any tips for getting a broken ball joint out of the socket? There's very little for me to grip on to. They probably will on the premium version, however I don't remember him using them in robot mode in the film so maybe not.
How did you get a broken ball joint? That sucks. These figures are so delicate. How about using needle nose pliers?
I was adjusting the chest piece (gently!) to get more articulation out of the shoulder and it just fell off.
I love him. DOTM is my favorite movie Optimus and 3A's DOTM is my favorite Optimus of all Transformer toys. I also have the AOE Evasion Edition but I can't compare him to the DOTM figure because I haven't opened up the box yet. I just love the DOTM version I see no reason why I would need to open up the AOE version. Don't you think the DLX Bumblebee pairs perfectly with these 18 inch Primes? Your Bumblebee looks great next to your Prime 1 Studio AOE Optimus.
Ummmmmmm... yeah, prime is way too damn fucking huge there. Bumblebee is not that damned small to Prime.
Yeah they look great together! Also... They scale perfectly actually. BeetleBee is 10ft tall and knight OP is 28ft. He IS that damn small next to Prime. Now if it were the bayformers Bee then he’d have to be up to around Prime’s crotch. Unfortunately the other 3A Bees are much too big, being more like Ironhide’s height. 3A stuff mostly works on their own, unless you have several Optimii together and nothing else. OR if you have this deluxe Bee and one of the OPs.
still... looks really nice otherwise. I'd probably get the bee by itself and display on my computer desk. ...and in case anyone is wondering. here's my current desktop. Apologies for temporary derailment.

Optimus in the new movie looks significantly shorter than the old bayverse ones since Bee goes above his waist in the new movie which would put him at about 18 to 20 ft range maybe give or take a foot
