I COMPLETELY agree with you! I even thought the movie was just SO SO. BUT.. The design of Bee is great, and THIS piece is a work of art. This may be my 1st non-transforming Transformer.

My bad, I meant in the actual movie. That is a nice touch on the figure!

Still doesn't stop me from ordering him, just is my complaint. Will for sure jump on the early Blitzwing order.

Wait. They're doing a blitzwing? How have I not heard of this, I want this even more now...

I'm so tied up now, should I get this and continue with this dlx line, or go with the iron warrior tf prime line. Ugh i'm so torn now.

Finally made it out to see this movie today and very much enjoyed it! My fiancée enjoyed it as well; she is obsessed with all of the animalistic/monsterous Transformers (especially the Dinobots) but cares very little for the vehicular characters, and now has added Bumblebee to the small list of the latter she cares about (basically Kup, Arcee, and Wheelie). She demanded that I add the movie version of Bumblebee to my/our collection (I'm mostly a Gee-wunner), and for the first time I find myself pre-ordering a non-transforming Transformer because it represents the character so well. This Bee is gorgeous!

I've been ignoring this cuz 3a figures are so expensive but I decided to take a look and it's not that bad. Only $140. He's just adorable and I love him and I need him. I think I'll have to come up with a Charlie figure too. Maybe I'll get that grl power figure and 3d print a new head for her (there's a reason none of the photos have her face toward the camera).

It's such a small piece of the design, but the foot design and forearm design are freaking awesome on Bumblebee. Love the giant shoes feeling the feet give off, and that arm design has all the right curves perfectly. Everything about the revisions they put in to make him feel younger are so absolutely much more design perfection. Even the torso and head, but those arms and legs, I really like the curvature and way they did the plating on him. It feels both robotic and alive/metal organic, with the more streamlined curved approach to the paneling.

    Amazing photos as always!

Yeah it is a pretty glaring omission. They’ve confirmed the Premium version definitely has it.

I’d be surprised if its not included with another character, possibly Shatter. It’s pretty integral for posing those two together.

A glaring omission is right. Bee's blade should be included later on.
Maybe 3A could sell a 2-pack of Bee's Blade + Charlie Watson for retail.

This figure is absolutely insane. First time I'll be buying a TF that doesn't transform. Stunning.

It's not a horrible price point for the size and being part die-cast. There might be other characters from previous movies I might consider. I'm not really a big Bumblebee guy, though.

Incredible photography! I love how posable and expressive this bee is!

One last question for you @Tony_Bacala : What scale of human figure goes best with him, and what is that figure you used for Charlie? She should be about up to his hips, yes?

G.I. Joe size, aka 3.75 aka 1/18th scale seems to work well. I dunno if it's exact tho.

It was stated by @decemberist, the blade was NOT part of the original renders provided to them, and therefor not included. It was provided afterwards, which is why it will be included with the premium.
I'd be up for an accessory pack with Charlie & blade.

It would be great if they included the knife with the 2nd batch...
