I just stopped buying mainline figures the past few years and when things like this come along it isn't that big of a wallet shock compared to the multiple purchases that collecting the usual things on shelves.

 

I contacted ThreeA/Threezero to find out the official material of the tires and it turns out they are not rubber like you and others have suggested, they are made of soft PVC. that is info straight from the manufacturer.

So not that I'm not going to buy the figure..because I am but...did anyone else notice they painted the wrong parts on the upper cockpit chest section? The colors are reversed, They also painted the not window parts a gold color that is much brighter than any other part of the cockpit window. So the parts in that section that would be window are painted gunmetal and the parts that would be metal are painted gold-ish window color. Here is a reference:

Yeah if I had noticed it sooner I would have emailed them. They may fix it for the premium scale version.

A while back I heard a fan theory that humans will build their own transformer with the corpse of Blitzwing, Shatter and Dropkick for the sequel. This will give him his triple changer ability and multiple personalities making this movie a pretty epic origin story for the villain.

 

Um, the strangest thing just happened. I was sent a 2nd Blitzwing and received it in the mail today. I checked my orders on 3A's website and I can see I ordered a single Blitzwing. I also checked my bank account and I can see I was charged once when I initially ordered it. I have no idea why I was sent another one. I do have have Prime on pre-order so I wonder if there is a bug in the system that caused them to think there were 2 Blitzwings on pre-order instead of one Blitzwing and one Prime.
