He never had shoulder rockets in the cartoon or Marvel comics. That was always Bluestreak's thing.

I wonder if that armada prime will get a western release as part of this line or generation's select.

 

I'm putting money on that it will come with Siege Buzzsaw. (laserbeak recolor)

 

Yeah you can still see the squarish back pack on him that forms the roof of the truck mode, so unless they remolded that part to better look like an earth mode truck roof, I’d expect a Siege repaint. Kind of weird that it looks gray though.

 

Yep im in for them since I've never had soundblaster so why not this be my first figure.

If you're referring to BW; I wouldn't hold your hopes up. If they finally go into Beast Wars I can imagine they'll want to do it properly - by building up the necessary hype and all - and not just squeezing them in a 35th subline.

And if we do see them within this trilogy I think they'll give us their pre-earth forms to fit in with the current Cybertron theme. Would be nice as a prequel for an hypothetical 'Earth' trilogy.

 

Why would Bluestreak come with launchers that Prowl doesn't?

 

They're slipping non-G1 characters into Cyberverse as we speak. The intent, I assume, is to generate some media awareness for these characters so the BW Generations figures don't tank this time. It's a smart move, and hopefully one that'll make everyone happy.



Now, as far as the reveal goes: I was immediately raging at the thought of them doing yet ANOTHER blue Bluestreak on a mold I have no intention of owning instead of the two that I actually DO own. Thankfully the pic looks to be Sunbow accurate.

 

Because Prowl never really had launchers in the G1 toon when Bluestreak did?

obvious retooling on Soundblaster. I think hes holding two tapes like the original.



Prime is more subtle, everything on his front is already classic Prime, even his windane is upside down onhis back so nothing to be gleaned from this at all. His axe is silver now.

They could change his eye color and front facade maybe.


And Megatron....what would they change, maybe more red.

 

As far as the prime goes “goku black likey”
will have to see more of megatron
