It's so odd to me that they were taken down. It wasn't like they were accidentally put up, they had cardboard cutouts, even a 35 pedestal they were put on. So weird. Any chance they'll do more reveals the next day, even though they had their panel already?

 

Soundblaster I am sure is going to look better than Soundwave. Black does that to just about any mold. However, I have always preferred the character Soundwave to Soundblaster... I know they're technically the same, but Soundwave is who I grew up with, okay.

The expensive solution would be to get Soundwave so I can finally have Soundwave and Soundblaster to look pretty, but I am looking at four Leaders and a Commander this year, I need cheap solutions.

Hope we get a good look at Bluestreak soon. A couple good things to like about him both visually and character wise. When's the last time Bluestreak had a main line toy released in the United States?

Have any of the Hasbro reps said what the 35th anniversary line is all about? its goal and aim? is it like select series specified to siege? we have select series, generations select and 35th anniversary WFC-S if i understand correctly

 

Good question. I'd say it has to have been at least 10 years, and I'm talking about the Classics 2.0 toy, so that's a freakin' long-ass time.

 

I believe the last domestic mainline Bluestreak release was in 2015, when Hasbro released MP18 stateside.

Can't wait for preorders to go up for Siege Bluestreak.

 

Just like all the other anniversaries - to tap into G1 nostalgia and get people to fork out money for the same characters that we have gotten many times already

 

I wonder what made Hasbro decide to make a Siege Soundblaster but not a Titans Return Soundblaster? Or Broadcast?

 

Which line was the 2015 one in? The Bluestreak around 2015 I'm thinking of was Combiner Wars and he was an TFCC exclusive I think.

 

I wonder if for 35th Optimus the roof is altered to look more G1?

those cassette cons were large and bulky, can you imagine how they would fit 2 in there? The Siege figs are far better suited for the 2 fit chest remold etc although I kinda wish the remold was a bit more extensive to allow for less of a massively protruding chest

 

Yeah, I was actually hoping to get SoundBlaster and Twincast redecos of those figures, even if they were exclusive in some box sets, but they just didn't do them for some reason. Not even Takara. Redecos that would've made sense, but they didn't do them. Hmm...

 

I need that Siege Bluestreak and I've been waiting for a Soundblaster for a while.

 

I never really thought about it, but you are so right about TR Soundwave's Headmaster situation!

With the Golden Lagoon TR Soundwave coming out soon, I still have a small sliver of hope for a TR Soundblaster repaint.

While it’s not the actual figure if you look at the Optimus cut out inside the package it’s the render of the actual toy and he has cell shaded windows and thighs.

what fudging reality did we get dumped into? Bluestreak, Skyfire, Omega Supreme, Springer........... and so far not even a hint of a bumblebee in this line........ is this real life? wow hasbro... its like someone completely knew took over.

 

Not that surprised, like the studio series they want robot size accuracy and the small size is for Micromasters this year;
He will show up I,am sure in the second part/year of war for cybertron since he is featured in the next idw wfc comic.

Why does the article say "cell-shaded" repaints, when you can obviously see from the photo those are just 2D paper cutouts standing in for the toys?   Only Soundblaster is actually there.
