you realize that by dodging the reboot question people will keep asking you what you mean right?
Like you being debunked as having anything to do with the Transformers productions?
of course, why on earth would a "brand new storytelling universe" as announced by the official corporation that owns the franchise be interpreted as a pesky reboot?
I'm starting to think he just loves the attention, even though he'd probably get way more if he just admitted which majorly important producer he actually is
Where’s the Bluestreak Pic?
I figured we didn’t see a bumblebee because of the Bee movies didn’t want competing bees, or cause any confusion. Same as I expect the very G1 look for the Cybertron scenes was in part influenced by the fact that siege would be on shelves at the same time as the movie. One could conceivably think that a part of the marketing strategy was to purposefully leave Bee out of siege until the excitement of the film died down, then release him later (in his winged ufo mode of course).
But that’s me.
Jetfire, Omega Supreme, Springer, Thundercracker = AWESOME!
Soundblaster= Pretty cool, might get him.
The rest = meh!
Like I've been saying, for me collecting ends & cherry picking begins.
Odd that Soundblaster is in the 35th line as opposed to Soundwave.
Odd that SoundBlaster was in the Fall of Cybertron line, despite not being in the game.
It's a stupid easy and cheap repaint, not to mention it pays homage to a part of the franchise that's become really popular among a sect of the American fanbase.
He also has a remolded chest so he can fit two cassettes, like the original!
Interesting. Perhaps they're going to release a 35th Anniversary edition Soundwave in cell-shaded paint that has the same tooling.
I'm just surprised he's not in the Siege line instead. That I would've expected.
People were already going "Soundblaster repaint when?" not long after the Soundwave reveal.
Probably because Siege is inspired by the first few minutes of the G1 Pilot episode, while SoundBlaster debuted in the Japanese-exclusive "The Headmasters" sequel series. Besides, they might also have wanted to give that voyager slot to Thundercracker, who despite also being a repaint is a distinct character, or Springer.
I hope we get a Marvel Soundwave too. In SS perhaps.
It'll never happen, but I'd totally buy an MP Marvel Soundwave, complete with new face.
While I was writing that I actually realized I'd rather have a MP Marvel Soundwave.
That’s cool that we’re getting more figures from G1.
based on the packaging shown, the 35th line is a subline of siege (it still had the wfc: siege logo on the front of the box)
I’m part of that sect of the fan base. Japanese G1 (Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory) is my absolute favorite era of TF cartoons.
That said, I’m torn on Soundblaster. Part of me wants it because it’s Soundblaster. But part of me doesn’t want it because Soundblaster never had a Cybertronian alt mode. I would rather have gotten a Soundblaster repaint from TR Soundwave and his rival, Twincast, from TR Blaster.
Soundwave is a stronger mainline release.
I just hope that Soundblaster is available soon.
With Soundwave and Soundblaster coming out is it too much to ask for a voyager Siege Blaster, and maybe a Twincast?
Separate names with a comma.
