Noticed (and others have mentioned) that Bee is absent. Bummer. Maybe he's on earth already?
so it that it for Hasbro's booth at toyfair? is there anything else going on or was yesterday it? I would have liked more information on it.
Next year. WFC2.
Was kind of felt with as much product as he was already getting that it'd be better to wait until next year for him, so that movie product of him along with Cyberverse takes center stage this year instead. Though we might hear something more towards the home release. But for now at least, the Masterpiece v2 was it until WFC2. (Plus, this way it lines up the release for the Netflix series better too.)
And maybe some other little repaint surprises if rights can get ironed out for it later.
Man, Hasbro is doing some awesome stuff right now. Hope all of this gets to us sooner than later. I feel like a little kid...I want one of everything...
Its too bad that we cant get a Generations Bee, but I'm not really complaining this is the most expensive year ever for me.
SDCC for more.
This was mostly the tease.
Should know more before September. Since the actual anniversary date is then.
And depending on how fast some other details get sorted, much more news for SDCC and NYCC too(maybe!). Though Hascon stuff was also supposed to be big news stuff too.
And no, none of it is about a non-existent "reboot" either. *Eyeroll*
But lots of other hype details to come.
Kind of odd that they’d hide these away given how little was actually revealed. We had what, these guys and Smashdown?
This kind of stuff makes me miss Botcon just because otherwise Hasbro doesn’t seem to care about actually promoting product anymore.
If it wasn't for the Brickseek leaks we'd have gotten a lot more new reveals.
But even then it accounts for what, 1 wave?
Well, here's the thing: normally, I'd say "oh, all it takes is for the one person who leaks them to decide not to", and while that still may be correct, knowing this fandom, I wouldn't put it past us to have multiple people looking for these at the same time. If that's the case, it would take all those people to unanimously and independently decide not to, to say nothing of guys like Kevin Liu and TonTon.
Wow Jetfire looks so clean and managed to avoid "battle damage" coz he's always in the sky
Not quite... He does have battle damage, but it is so subtle it is easy to miss. Check this video:
There was also the Goldfire/Goldbug retool in T30. But yeah, he's had less figures than say Starscream or Megatron in the same time frame, counting only CHUG. And they've all had less figures than Mr. At Least One New Figure a Year Prime.
Red Alert, Thundercracker, Springer, Cyberrton Optimus, and the two Battle Masters are all wave three, Mirage and Impactor wave 4, and Jetfire and Omega don't really fit the wave pattern. And Siege is supposedly only 4 waves. I mean, other than the rumored/leaked Barricade and leaked store exclusives, we've seen the entirety of Siege's deluxes. And I don't expect to see store exclusives a toy show, only press releases.
Speaking of Bumblebee ... I doubt it will happen, even as a store exclusive, but technically Bee could have been put out as a deluxe. Hasbro has already been selling scout class figures (NOT legends class) as deluxes in the Studio Series line, and since the Siege figures do have varying sizes due to scale even in the same size class, they could have made a scout sized Bee. Though he'd probably be considered too big even then.
Still, the next series is likely where we'll see Bee, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, Jazz, etc. Unless the 35th subline has more than 4 figures. And even then, any further 35th figures will probably be repaints/retools. I really hope we get Smokescreen in the 35th, since I like him and Bluestreak more than Prowl. And I really hope Bluestreak has a different head than Prowl.
White crotch/thighs, no battle damage on Prime is a go for me. Megatron maybe with cell-shaded or silver and some more red.
Awesome reveals. Sad Wallet.
Tip of the iceberg I guess? Can't wait
what "reboot" are you talking about?
im actually expecting a repaint/retool of siege cosmos
Exactly. Not really worth even validating those rumors that keep having to be debunked.
Original Classics Bumblebee was like that technically.
So I'd expect similar for later in that regard. So size isn't really an issue, all that means is he can get more room for engineering and parts count to make up the difference. Or include extra gear like they did for Greenlight.
I believe he's referring to the fact that Bumblebee was announced to be part of a "brand new storytelling universe," which indirectly means Bumblebee is not connected with the Bayverse, which is officially dead outside of the Studio Series line.
