After fiddling with my copy more(and noticing more and more how similar it is to the MP...this was probably also designed by Hasui Shogo), I wish the knee joint was just a few cm lower. You'll see what I mean when you try to pose it kneeling or crouching.

Lucked out and found him. Love, love, love the paint job. He looks like a sleek dress shoe in car mode.

Without a doubt, if there is only one version of the mold that everyone should get, it is this guy. Colorblocking is on point, forearms are painted and cleared, metallic paint, etc. Quality is way better than his brothers

Although I marginally prefer Smokescreen, Bluestreak is a really impressive version of this mold. Shame he’s a bit of a pain to find.

Saw him in person. Great Bluestreak figure, but he can't redeem that awful mould. Should I wait for him to come back around in a different line? Or should I get him and try to learn to tolerate its weird stubby-ness.

I mean, I don’t think it’s a terrible mold. I adore the car mode, and I like the face sculpts. It’s just that the legs and feet absolutely suck. They are terrible.

Did you have the mold previously? FWIW I felt the same way about Prowl and the others when I first saw pics, that they were the clear losers of Siege. I actually thought Cyberverse Prowl looked way better. I took a chance on Barricade nevertheless because I really liked the colors, and somehow it became like one of my favorite toys in years once I got it in hand (despite its issues). It might be worth taking a risk on Bluestreak if he looks appealing enough. Worst case scenario it'd probably be easy to get rid of since he's new and rare.

Just got mine yesterday (thanks Michigan friend!!)! Overall I'd say he's good, but not quite the home run I'd hoped. I was expecting something on par with Sideswipe, instead he's more Ultra Magnus; a great robot mode and fun transformation and an ok vehicle mode (tho I like it better than Magnus'). The car is nice and compact, tho I do find getting his doors pegged closed a bit of a pain.

    The Good:
    • Fantastic robot mode. Man, face sculpts have come a LONG way, huh?
    • Equally fantastic paint job
    • Nice weapons
    • Great articulation (wrists!)
    The Bad:
    • Clear wheels (uuuuug. But at least they're not painted)
    • Tabbing the doors shut is harder than it should be. They don't seem to line up naturally, and need some forcing (even when the inside of the hood is pegged in).
    • Forearms are red plastic painted black. Based on how he transforms, I'm a bit worried about chipping the paint and having bright red marks showing up
    • Feels really light

    Overall: B+

I STILL haven't found a Bluestreak yet but I'm REALLY hoping i can get lucky soon enough. If anyone knows if bluestreak is ever online to EVER ship to delivering home not store than I'm interested.

Edit: Bluestreak 35th anniversary achieve and finished and now in my collection. So happy to have him and he's pretty cool so now my collection of that mold is done for me. Just need the tapes to go in my soundblaster so ANY HELP and if anyone wants to help that would be cool.

There is something about his color palette that really brings the Siege Autobot shelf to life!!!!

His paint does feel more premium but it should be the color blocking. This mold needs the hips to be painted or molded in a different color. It works wonders.

The legs are kind of spindly, but the overall look is nice and I think the feet work well for what they are.

I posted this in the Siege appreciation thread a couple weeks back, but I'm still surprised that Bluestreak, whose sole military role is being the best sharpshooter/gunner of the early Autobots, is somehow a Major, the same rank as Ultra Magnus or Shockwave.
