Hello, I just got my 35th Anniversary edition Siege Bluestreak early from my local hobby store. I'm not the best reviewer ever, so I tried my best to give my feedback of this figure and see if it's a worthy buy.

    Packaging:

    IMG_20190805_133211.jpg
    IMG_20190805_183308.jpg

As one of the exclusive 35th Anniversary edition figures (Alongside the upcoming Siege Soundblaster, cell-shaded Optimus Prime and cell-shaded Megatron), Bluestreak here comes with a slightly different packaging art compared to most figures from the Siege toyline; Now with more red, a huge '35" at the slanted side of the box, and the character boxart is at the opposite side this time around. Other than that, there's not much differences.

Not offense to the boxart artist, but the boxart just looks weird; I get what they're going for, but Bluestreak's face expressions makes him look like he has stomach ache and holding himself from going for a toilet. Alright, move on.

    Vehicle mode:

    IMG_20190805_175446.jpg

Bluestreak's vehicle mode is sort of a Cybertronian-ish sports car with some design cues from the Datsun 240Z, Bluestreaks's original G1 alt mode. Look-wise, it's the same as Prowl besides the different colors and the lack of a siren lightbar. I do appreciate that Bluestreak comes with translucent black wheels this time around, instead of Prowl's translucent wheels which just looks silly on that figure.

For some reason, the front wheels barely rolls at all. This may just been an isolated issue on my copy, however.

    IMG_20190805_175555.jpg

The alt mode, loaded with all of the included weapons. This just looks ridiculous, and very silly.

    Robot mode:

    IMG_20190805_175802.jpg

Bluestreak's robot mode is exactly the same as Siege Prowl, just in Bluestreak's signature colors. The colors works well for this mold, and less monotone than Prowl. From the front, this figure looks quite good.

    IMG_20190805_175108.jpg

From the back however, not so much. My biggest nitpick would be just how hollow the back of the legs are; The lower legs are almost 50 percent hollow, with barely anything to fill in at the back.

    IMG_20190805_175131.jpg

The headsculpt is pretty good, even if I think that the headsculpt should be closer to MP-18+'s headsculpt instead of just reusing Prowl's.

    IMG_20190805_174906.jpg

Bluestreak has a 3mm port hole at his back, allowing the figure to be posed in mid-air poses on most flight/action stands from companies like Bandai or Kotobukiya.

    The accessories:

    IMG_20190805_175045.jpg

Bluestreak comes with 3 different accessories; Which are Prowl's gun painted in silver, and 2 shoulder guns/blasters exclusive to this figure (And the upcoming Selects series Smokescreen)

    IMG_20190805_175003.jpg

Besides being used as shoulder mounted guns/blasters, Bluestreak's shoulder guns can also being used as small pistols. They can also be combined to form a dual-barrel pistol, but I'm not a fan of how it looks with the pegs sticking out from the side, which just makes the dual-barrel pistol looks flat.

    IMG_20190805_174938.jpg

Bluestreak fully loaded with his accessories:

    IMG_20190805_180323.jpg

Articulation is the exact same as Siege Prowl. My copy has a slightly loose left knee, and the right shoulder is slightly too tight than I would prefer.

    Some size comparison:

    With MP Bluestreak:

    IMG_20190805_174824.jpg

    With Siege Hound:

    IMG_20190805_175846.jpg

With Siege Hound and Sideswipe (In vehicle mode):

    IMG_20190805_175516.jpg

Overall, it's not a bad figure and a good repaint of an alright figure. If you are a fan of the mold itself and just wants another Bluestreak figure in your collection, I'll say just go for it.

It's not a perfect mold however, and the mold itself has some shortcomings when compared to the other Siege figures.

Well i thought you hit on the main points so that is all that matters. I thought you did an EXCELLENT job in your write up on this figure. Only problem i have is HOW am i going to be able to obtain this figure without it costing me reseller money,.....that is my problem here. I think if you get more of these siege 35th anniversary figures early like this figure please share with us this exact type of write up you did here. Great job my friend thank you very much.

I don't have Soundblaster or the Reflector 3-pack yet, nor did I have any interest in either of them.

Bluestreak here is a surprise find, as I never expect to see one this early at all.

Barricade has them too: Prowl is the only one of the four without them.

Still don’t love the proportions on this mold. The lower body is so thin compared to the top and the feet are kinda clownish.

The Bluestreak deco looks so good though I may need to double dip.

    WOW!

I can't ask for a better main line Bluestreak! He loves absolutely perfect in all his weird-ish Cybertonian glory.
    Bought on sight!

    Thanks for the review.

Weird how many people still don\'t realize you have to turn the shoulders so the holes face outside...
Great colors, glad we got this. Though not really their \"second outing\", after all we got remolds of the three before in Masterpiece, and we also got all three as Legion class in Generations.

No cr@ppy battle damage paint?  Nice.  Shame the others have got it.  No point in getting only one of the brothers.  I\'ll stick with my Classics versions, thanks.

It's kind of ironic that we think of Bluestreak and Smokescreen as being "Prowl repaints", but man do I prefer them over Siege Prowl in every conceivable way.
It's amazing what some actual colour can do to make that mold really pop.

(Hopefully we'll get an actual police car in the next line, too)

Prowl and Smokescreen don't have battle damage.

The legs do look thin through, probably due to how hollow the lower legs are in robot mode; which is my biggest gripe with the mold itself.

Bluestreak's colors do looks nice on this mold, but just don't pay anything over 40 dollars for this figure. It's a nice repaint of an alright mold, but not "40-50 dollars" nice.

Yeah, Bluestreak's colors really makes the mold itself looks more interesting and dynamic.
