Here are the lead in episodes to the movie. They're quick little tidbits, but there's only a couple key plot points. I'll do the full write up for the Prose story that will be "Falling Darkness" after my finals week is over.

The Bee's Gambit Part 1: Bumblebee finds himself in enemy territory, caught between a feuding Predaking and Shockwave. Meanwhile, Airachnid, Skylynx, and Darksteel wander into the middle of Jasper, Airachnid keen to find "her Jack." Said Jack, along with Miko and Raf, must evade her while also trying to lead the Predacons away from the civilians. Optimus sends Smokescreen, whom Knockout has given a white, red, and blue paintjob ("Blue and yellow? Please, what are you, captain of the boring squad?) to help, along with Ultra Magnus and Ratchet. The elder bots question Prime's decision to put Smokescreen in charge, but Optimus has faith in the hotshot.
Bumblebee stumbles across Shockwave's considerable energon stockpiles, just as Silas, inside of Nemesis Prime, arrives on the scene.

The Bee's Gambit Part 2: While Shockwave and Predaking continue their conflict around their cavernous base, Nemesis Prime approaches Bumblebee amiably, stating they should work together, and take the Predacon's stash. Bumblebee is hesitant, but he realizes he has no choice. The two stealthily avoid the fighting 'cons for a time.

Meanwhile, Smokescreen, Ratchet, and Magnus are grappling with the Predacons, attempting to minimize damage to Jasper. Jack manages to get Airachnid's attention again and lead her towards the Autobot Base. Smokescreen, seeing the wisdom here, comms the base and lets them know company is on it's way, and they should get ready.

Just as Bee and Silas have managed to sneak the last of the energon out, Silas turns and aims his blaster at Bee. "I know my actions are easily predicted, but come now, Autobot. You really should have expected this."

Bee beeps and buzzes in response.

    Chuckling, Silas asks, "What?"

"He said 'I did.'" Shockwave blasts Nemesis Prime, immobilizing him. As it turns out, Bumblebee had left a trail of Energon shards leading the two 'cons to Silas' trailer. Predaking and Shockwave, having recognized it, cease fighting (though Predaking warns Shockwave that he does not trust his creator's leadership anymore).

The Predacon and Decepticon, having secured Nemesis Prime (Shockwave calls him a worthy cadaver) then look at Bumblebee. Predaking believes they should let him go, while Shockwave argues that the only rational thing to do is to kill the Autobot. They stop arguing when they realize that a Spacebridge is hovering over them (yes, the Decepticon engineered one from way back in season 2). Bee buzzes thanks to Arcee over the communication line.

"Not a problem Bee. Now, Let's get you home." The spacebridge lowers itself onto Bee and the collected Energon. Predaking and Shockwave, not wanting to be transported into Autobot territory, flee back into their cavern.

The Predacons have pursued Jack and the 'bots near the Autobot base, something Airachnid realizes all too late. The 'cons are surrounded, and Optimus deploys his minigun and states matter of factly "Surrender. Now." The Predacons do just that, but before they can be restrained, above them a spacebridge opens and Bumblebee along with several tons of Energon comes falling out. Utilizing the distraction, Airachnid screeches "Predacons, retreat!" Though their quarry has escaped, Optimus notes that they now have enough Energon to jumpstart Primus' new core, and bring life to Breccicus.

The final 8 minutes of the episode would be dedicated to the Autobot's experiencing their new world. Knockout discovers that sparks are beginning to grow, and in a month or so they'll have their first newborns. Miko, Jack, Raf, Vogel, Fowler, and June all watch from Earth as the moon lights up the night sky. Even Soundwave turns his head up to look at the "new" Cybertron. Optimus and his team stare happily at the pulsing core.

Shockwave too, is looking at the moon. He notes that progress for their species is good progress, Autobot induced or not. Predaking only growls in response. They pass by Nemesis Prime, chained up in a room with several cubes of Dark Energon (which is pulsing at the same rate as Primus' core) off to the side. Silas weakly glares at the Decepticon, but says nothing. As the 'cons exit the room, the Dark Energon glows more fiercely, and Silas looks on in horror. And at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, below the submarines that guard it's tomb, a purple light emanates from a corpse...

Oh my god! That ending blew my mind. I liked what you did with 'Bee. Best of luck with your exams.

Overall, your Season 3 was very good, much better than the actual thing. However the rules of the game did catch up on you:
While handled far better, your MECH (and Starscream) were still rushed.
    Magnus didn't get much development.
The political/Autobot distrust angle kinda faded out.
Again though it was still awesome to read and it would have been nigh-flawless if you only had a few more episodes to cover the above.

    Valid criticisms.

I had considered putting Magnus in the "Into the Future" episode, but the focus on Optimus and Vogel, in addition to the flashback, was enough. I really wish I could have one more episode with Magnus discovering the meaning of Christmas (along with some more Arcee and Jack focus), but alas, there simply isn't space for it. :(  Which is sad, because I always like the episodes of show where there is some downtime.

In retrospect, perhaps I could have switched the length of seasons 2 and 3. Season 2 could have been 13 episodes and devoted itself entirely to the Orion Pax arc, and ended with Megatron's death, and then season 3 could have focused on Shockwave, MECH, the Predacons, Airachnid and human/Autobot tensions.

I like where all this is going, but I don't like how Soundwave thanks Optimus prime. If anything, he should have a burning hatred.

My personal take would be that Soundwave finds a way to resurrect Megatron, thus bringing the decepticons back into the light.

Yeah, the rules are too restrictive. My light rewrite removes Airachnid and the Insecticons because there isn't enough room for her. Making room would require too many big changes and if I was gonna put that much effort into writing something, I would make it my own series.

You're not scrapping the whole series and all the characters they've built up in it, the point of this game is to improve/modify an existing series, namely transformers prime. If you wanted to write your own series, well that's why fanfiction net exists.

What I'm putting forth is adding things that you would have liked to see in transformers prime. However, if one completely destroys the base upon it is set on, then it's not transformers prime anymore, it's what-you-want prime.

Besides, the rules are quite lenient, I don't see how they are restrictive. So what if you can't kill Airachnid? Just exile her to the moon like they did in Prime ;)

yeah, but the story Stygimoloch has going on is quite intriguing, and I'd love to see how it would end.

I'm not saying I want to kill her, I'm saying I would make it so she's never introduced. I'm want to include as many of the original plotlines as possible but there were so many, that I'd have to remove one and Airachnid was unimportant. In order to fit it all together, it would require an even bigger rewrite that changes why certain characters are in the series so they can have a smaller role.

The main reason I have these rules is because I want to see how alternate directors would have taken the series if they had the same budget and mandatory toy/character releases as the real directors did.

See the problem I find with most threads where people write their own versions of the show (or any show) is that they often forget that the original directors had a good plan and direction to take the show, but due to the business side of the filming industry (Hasbro in this instance), had to make do with what they were given with. I'm sure if Transformers prime (and this applies to Animated) had been given the extra seasons the original writers and directors wanted them to get into, we'd have one of the best Transformer shows out there. However, due to real life politics, they had to cut it down.

I want to see creativity, but not unrestrained creativity that ignores the real life problems that plague writers/directors today. I want to see if people would be able to make a better show if they were tied up with all the paperwork and mandatory toy/character appearances that the original writers were tied up with. It's one thing to make a story, it's another to get that story out to the public and make it a sensation.

That's an admirable intention but Transformers Prime has to be one of least touched by Hasbro series in Transformers. In a time when Hasbro is constantly becoming less willing to make Decepticon toys, claiming they don't sell, I doubt Hasbro would have forced the cartoon to kill off the old 'Cons and bring in new ones, while leaving the Autobots untouched.

Even more proof that they often left the series alone is that the toy lines and the cartoon often seemed completely unaware of what each other was doing. Characters like Hotshot, Kup, Ultra Magnus in his RID body and many others toys were never seen in the show while Hardshell and three types of vehicons were but didn't get toys.

that's weird. did i accidentally bump up an old thread? :lol  i don't go into the prime forums too much.

that's the thing, if i was to "improve" this story, i'd be removing the deaths all together. or at least not for awhile. as if i was HASBRO, i'd be more interested in selling those toys, then killing off the characters. and i would also be changing the ending completely. i wouldn't even be bothering to rewrite the episodes. more so the whole overall plot.

about halfway through the beast hunters story, prime lost me. i got bored. i never ended up finishing this series.

i never liked the 13 primes, last of primes, stuff. and the majority of this series was hunting for things. we need to find the "insert weapon here." it was just a little boring for me.

and the only part that kept me going was Miko, because she at least brought SOME humor to what is a very dull series. where she was the only hero with any kind of actual personality, who wasn't bulkhead and wheeljack.

the rest all seemed to be blank slates of characters. who had stayed the same from what they were at the beginning.

the animation in this show is very pretty. sans the bland backgrounds. but overall, the biggest problem of this series, was that, the lack of personalities. and those who did have personalities, just took everything way too seriously.

i miss the days where optimus prime would tell a joke. instead of sounding like an old fortune cookie.

on the other hand, the decepticons had WAY more personality. way more humor, and were way more interesting characters.

Fair enough about Hasbro, but my point still stands. Transformers prime got cut not because it was a loss as a TV show, but because of other Hasbro projects.

Nowhere did I say you couldn't add characters or make the characters more interesting. Hell, if you can make Optimus in Prime somehow grow, go for it. All I said is that you have to include all the characters that made it into the show. As for deaths, there are very few actual "deaths". All of which you could bring to bear at the end of your grand finale. My only real "restrictive" rules is that the beginning and ending premise stay the same: Autobots hiding on earth eventually restore cybertron and Megatron disbands the Decepticons.

My point also stands. That outside of season three, Hasbro didn't tell them who they could or couldn't use, other than their usual demands for Optimus and Bumblebee. And they never told them when to kill characters.
