if i were a producer or just a billionaire that needed to write off a few hundred million, here's what i would make: Adapted from a book: Burning Chrome (a short story, i know) by William Gibson. Adapted from Comics or Graphic Novels: The Dark Knight Returns From Outta Nowhere: I always had this dream of seeing Savatage's "Wake of Magellan" turned into a musical movie. it has lots of room for drama. so, using those three categories, what do YOU want to make?
I would make movies out of the Pendragon Adventure series and maybe a solo movie on Batgirl [Cassandra Cain].
Adapted from a book: Any of the Robert Crais Elvis Cole Joe Pike Series. Or the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plumb Series. Adapted from Comics or Graphic Novels: Dynamite's The Lone Ranger Frank Miller's Man With out Fear From Outta Nowhere: Metal Gear Solid The movie Tekkaman Blade Movie
Hmm... A really badass remake of the old monster movie "The Giant Claw." No CGI, though. Keep it classic. A better Daredevil movie. The 2003 one was just crap. Ghostbusters III.
From novels: Ganwold's Child Echoes of Issel Dominion's Reach They area three part series scifi by Diann Thornley.
All of mine would probably be video game movies.... Metal Gear Solid Shadow of the Colossus or maybe a remake of Super Mario Bros.!
Godzilla vs. Gamera vs. Guilala. With a possible guest appearance of the Giant Claw, just for kicks! As for the other two categories - not sure what book I'd adapt. Ooooh, got it: Raptor Red. Comics? Deadpool. Casting Bea Arthur as a cameo would be a must, natch.
I allways wanted a phantom toll booth movie make a better transformers(with starscream being a main character and having alot of lines) Knightrider
1. 'The Martian Race' by Greg Benford. 2. A better adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune... who cares if it ends up being 14 hours long. 3. A live-action Zoids movie.
Actually there was an attempt to make a big-screen version of it back in the 1970s (with Salvador Dali as the Emperor no less!) and the resulting screenplay was indeed 14 hours long! What we could have had...
I would make a movie of my life, it would be one badass movie Rated R, lots of violence and nudity.(not in the same scenes) I would also make "Ender's Game" a movie. And a Digimon live action movie.
^ I'm sure it would be great, lol. As for me, I would do a totally absurd comedy that would become an instant cult classic, or go straight to the bargain bin at the local video store. *EDIT: I would be a trilogy, so that makes the 3 movies.
A movie depicting the golden area of Karate tournament fighting in the 60's where they say "light" contact but it rarely happened. It'll be awesome to showcase legendary fighters like; Joe Lewis, Skipper Mullens and Chuck Norris. Reading some old Black Belt magazines you see that sometimes their fights turned really dirty. They have all those football, baseball, even golf movies showcasing their golden area, why not martial arts? Another one I would do is an idea I've been sitting on for about thirteen years. Don't want to say it here, since I'm actually trying to get it rolling. Some here know what it is. Hmm.... A third one. Not sure. I know there are plenty of my own ideas running around in my head that I might do.
haha I never knew that. The TV series on the Sci-Fi channel was pretty good in terms of accuracy, but it could've done with a budget higher than £10. The painted pictures of dunes representing the desert in the background made me a sad panda...
I was glad that it didn't get made when I read into it, Salvador Dali living on a fake gold planet with a robot copy of himself and Rabban being a hermaphrodite sounded a bit too bonkers for my likeing. The Giger-designed Giedi Prime probably would have been awesome thougth.
