when i got my first transfomer. FAB prime from 07. i got it because the leader was too much , and i wanted a prime

 

The forest fight in ROTF. It was the awesomest thing I've seen in transformers. Seeing Prime beating the three main Decepticons (Megatron's the leader, Starscream's the second in command, and Grindor's the heavy weapon specialist) was just great.

 

Either Unicron's transformation, or the Optimus-Megatron battle. Both from the '86 film.

 

The 1986 movie fight with Prime and Megatron. So epic!

 

So many - when G1 was first ever on, in the middle of Timmy Mallet's morning show on ITV, and the Constructicons v the Dinobots. Then going to school to discuss implications thereof.

G1 toys - Megatron and Soundwave.

The read-along books and cassette, definitely the story where the Autobots see the Araura Bourealis and think they're under attack.

Completing any of the combiners, Bruticus, Menasor, Superion, Defensor.

The one American kid at my school in West London - he got Shockwave (never released over here) and brought it in to show off.

Seeing the 1986 movie in the cinema with my cousin - the opening sequence, the attack on Autobot City, the reformatting of Megatron, the death of Starscream and the transformation of Unicron are all stand-out moments but the sequence of Starscream chasing down Springer and Arcee (right up to 'ahh, my foot') is probably my favourite.

Since then, hearing there'd be a live action movie and seeing the first trailer (917 times online) were greater highs than that heaving turd of a finished product.

Owning Classics Bumblebee, Mirage and Ultra Magnus. Huge waves of nostalgia plus astonishment at the engineering of toys today.

All of Transformers Animated, including and especially the toys, the geeky humour, and the relative darkness for a kids' show. (And taking the episode apart on here afterwards.)

 

Either Prime arriving at Autobot City and destroying the Decepticons in the 86 movie, The Forest Battle from ROTF or the entire Autobot arrival sequence from the first live action movie. Too hard to choose one.

 

Seeing the First ad on TV for jetfire! That was it for me.
Oh and all time fav would be seeing the Dinobots and going to the flee market and buying Dicalone Grimlock. Knowing it was the same as the TF version except for the blue waist.

Man the Dinos and Jetfire won me over for 25 years.

 

Beast Wars. Just that line alone brought me joy during my childhood.
