Here is a 21st Century Shatter made using the Takara AOE Stinger, with the Energon Igniters head and some extra silver detailing. She partners up with 2007 Dropkick to represent modern incarnations of the Bumblebee movie duo.

How do you attach the Shatter head?

 

Really digging that Shatter. Nice work!

 

Once it’s cut off the original body, there’s a groove in the base of the Energon Igniters head that roughly fits the ball joint on the Stinger figure. I used some clear nail varnish to tighten the connection. The new head can be pulled off quite easily, but won’t fall off, and can pose well.

 

That’s not too bad a concept done pretty dang well.
