What toy lines and specific toys are you focusing on on 2017? Including old and new stuff.
And what toys do you hope will be announced?
I'd love an idw style Turmoil, and I may buy a second tr Broadside for that purpose.
I'm hoping to get one of those WFC Trypticon, and pretty excited for Titans zTrypticon also.

 

Titans Return has not been that exciting for me. I just hope TLK line has promising toys. And I hope MP has big surprises through out the year.

 

Sticking with CHUG as usual, planning on picking up every Titans Return Legends, Deluxe, and Voyager I can. Really excited to complete my 84 Minibots by picking up Brawn and Autobot Triple Changers with Broadside, and really happy with the G1 accurate Kup & Perceptor. Plus the reveal of Topspin and the rumors of a Voyager Octane, Blitzwing, Deluxe Krok, Quake, Slugslinger, Misfire, Crosshairs, Needlenose, & Legends Chase, Seaspray, etc. Its hard not to love Titans Return right now, for it is helping me complete my CHUG shelf. Kind of sad if the rumors are true and in order to get Tidal Wave, Nautica, and the Clones I need to buy a probably an expensive boxset  . And I will be picking up any figure coming from Power of the Primes if it starts to come out next year, really excited to see who comes from it. Hound for Prime 2018!

I will also be continuing to pick up the Robots in Disguise Warrior Class figures starting with Alpine Drift, Stormshot, and Blastwave. Really looking forward to picking up Soundwave, Skywarp, Bludgeon, Twinferno, & even Blurr. Very curious to see if we get any more Warriors afterwards considering I now expect a Thundercracker to complete my RID Seeker trio.

And with a new Bayformer film out means a new line for this Bayformer fan to collect but I will not be buying every deluxe and voyager like I did AOE. Definitely picking up that voyager Optimus Prime, looks really good and is better scaled for my AOE Autobots then the leader. Will pick up Hot Rod, Onslaught, Hooligan, Mohawk, & Megatron if they get a deluxe or voyager figure, plus the rumored Headmaster Autobot too if it follows the Headmaster gimmick of Titans Return. Might get a deluxe Bumblebee & Drift if they get made but I don't know yet.

 

I'm sticking to the usual lines: Titans Return and RID.

I'm not too sure if I'm gonna get any movie firgues, but if I do, it'll mostly be Decepticons.

 

Titans Return has been very fun for me and can't wait to see what 2017 holds for it. Hoping Trypticon is great and we will get Octane.

 

My primary focus in 2017 will be Masterpiece.
IF (and that's a BIG if) the TLK line gives us some solid badass collectibles, I may consider buying a few. I would love to add another Barricade, Drift, Crosshairs and Bee to my collection. I would also pick up Roddy, Overhaul and whoever that Mclaren ends up being.

I'll probably finish buying final pieces for my Animated and Prime collections. That's pretty much my current plans for 2017.

 

"TLK"?

I hope he is as tall as long, so shorter than Max but with a decent tail and bulk, and not a humanoid bot with a tail slapped on the rear end...

 

I think that stands for 'The Last Knight'.

 

As with any movie year, I'll be focusing mostly on the movie stuff, though Broadside is definitely intriguing at this point.

-A line of beast retools from CW/UW in the third part of the Prime Wars Trilogy

-Takara Legends Metroplex/Fortress Maximus... though I need to magically find space for them
-BotCon Predacus
-Various 3P I either missed or skipped at release

 

I'm really hype for more RID2015! Their figures are just so great!
Also I'm looking to go back & pick up FOC Blaster & his Data Discs. Hope it won't be too expensive. ^^;

Not to mention Power Of The Prime rumors/leaks should be happening late 2017 if I'm not mistaken.

Alot to look forward to next year. Yay!

 

I'm pretty excited for the inevitable Generations Overlord, and Fansproject's Comera looks really cool!

I'll probably remain on the same track that I'm on now, and continue to focus on the few 3rd party toys I have interest in (TFC Toys' Poseidon WILL BE MINE, I will not let $600 stop me) as well as most of Titans Return, as I've really been loving that toyline.

 

Most of my collecting will likely be limited to 3P. Mainly Mastermind Creations' reformatted line, as right now, it's the only line that interests me. I simply have no desire for large scale collecting of super 80s figures, like most of MP and TR. I'll get anything that looks half-decent from RID15 and TLK, and probably the odd MP and TR figure.

 

I'll continue buying all of the Primes and Megatrons.

I'll continue getting any Hasbro/TT combiner figures.

I'll get caught up on my MP figures at tax time.

I'll continue filling out my LLL* shelf.

I'll continue getting one of each non-minicon RID15 character.

I'll (hopefully) finish my Lost Realm set.

I'll finish my Ryu-Oh set (last two bots and last two shells).

I hope we get some traction on the last three Function X figures.

I'm already exited for all the MP's incoming, Artfire and Cheetor mostly, but can't wait to put an Hoist with my Grapple.
3P wise the podium for anticipation maximal is MMC Reformated Megatron, FT Skyfire, and MT Pointblank. Just these three would make my year.

But it's with Titans Return that i'm all ready to give my money to Hasbro and Takara. Completing the Wreckers with Broadside and the Jumpstarters ? YES.
Ready to be amazed again like with Triggerhappy ? YES. Some Lost Light love with Percy and Nautica ? YES!
And the surprises, what will be revealed, that's my favorite part.

But above all else... Misfire. Give me my Misfire. It is time.

 

Overlord, Astrotrain, Octane, Perceptor and Takara Legends Hot Rod. Then my cabinet is full.

 

I'll be doing what I've done for the last 17 years, spending too much on stuff I won't even know I want just yet.

+1 on wanting Misfire, the other Scavengers and Slugslinger.

But it least there's a nominal saving on ignoring the fucking Movie. Again.

 

I'll be looking to keep up my completist collecting of Titans Return and Legends, but will keep a close eye on just how much mould reuse is going on and if it starts heading towards burnout. masterpiece I will be a bit more discerning with, although I hope to get all the show characters and Diaclone/PreTF variants, and any exclusives I can afford. I will also keep trying to find mint packaged examples of post movie G1 Transformers for my personal project. I am considering giving up my Joustra Diaclone collecting as I've missed a few key items in the last few years and don;t see this being something I can ever complete now. I hope I still get a healthy amount of 3P to review as well!

I'm still buying MP, specifically Grapple and Dirge, but with a weary sense of obligation. Most of my TF money will be going to the CHUG and the CHUG complimentary third party stuff, like MMC's DJD stuff.
So I'm excited for God Ginrai and Godbomber, Kultur, Blackshadow, Topspin, Trypticon, Nautica, Broadside and the inevitable Overlord, Octane and Blitzwing repaints. I'm hoping for Voyager Apeface and Snapdragon, Deluxe Misfire and - with increasingly wilting optimism - a Leader class Scorponok.
I'm MOST excited for what I don't know and can't predict. There's been plenty of speculation about what the next line after Titans Return will be, and I have wondered if Titans Return will go past the usual six waves as there does seem to be quite a few figures that 'need' to be covered, but we really know nothing. In an ideal world, I'd love to see the Dinobots, the Predacons, and some unpredictable, satisfying, innovative take on the Pretenders but what I've loved most about Titans Return, and to a lesser extent Combiner Wars, is getting great renditions of fairly obscure characters like Sky Lynx, Triggerhappy, Double Cross and even Pirate Lion. So just keep surprising and delighting me Hasbro. Ta.
