Got this commission in the last couple of weeks of 2016 but I finished him about an hour into 2017 so I'm gunna call him my first 2017 custom. The colors look a bit lighter than they really are in these black background pics unfortunately... Especially the steel, so I added one pic of him just in my hand to better show how the colors look in person. The customer wanted me to make Dinobot bigger, so I chopped his legs into 6 parts and resculpted them to be longer/thicker and sculpted his upper arms to be a bit thicker, then added new highly flexible wires and repainted him. I did a similar wire swap and repaint in 2011 to my own Dinobot, and a commission much like it in 2012 with a few differences. Over the years I have done a lot of re-scaling figures to look better in group displays, both for myself and for others.
