With only a month and a half left in 2016 and preorders for 2017 going up, it was time to post a new Spending And Purchases thread. 2016 saw ALOT of amazing toys released from a vast array of producers (Official and 3rd Party). 2017 is looking to continue that trend, thus far. For me, April is going to be one hell of an expensive month, but totally worth it. We'll see where my finances are by then, but on top of 3rd party stuff I want to catch up on (I'm relatively new to collecting) MP Megatron V2, if Fanstoys Omega is up for pre-order and if I can realistically afford him, the War in Pocket seekers (<--- sorry, I know this is for Hasbro expenditures, just saying), and more TR stuff. And that Diaclone Cosmo Maneuver type is looking pretty sweet.

So far just the two. January - MP Cheetor April - MP Megatron I expect to add a few more MPs to this list through out the year. My predictions/hopes being MP Tigatron and MP (Beast Wars) Megatron.
Not much yet. So far it's just MP Megatron and Cheetor. Although the second Legends Sixshot, Triggerhappy and Trypticon get announced I'll preorder them too. Hopefully there's a few more new MP I want in the pipeline too.
I wish I coukd buy MP's, however they are outside the realm of possibility. I'm looking forward to upcoming waves of TR deluxes, most likely starting with wave 3, unless by some miracle I see it here in the next 6 weeks. I may be down for G2 Prime, and possibly Blitzwing and Octane assuming they are made, however I feel its a safe bet. Besides that a few of the recently announced RID figures and thats about it.
Well, it's all about choices for me. I spend maybe about $100 a month max, but sometimes go like half a year without spending a dime on Transformers. Hope you'll one day have the opportunity to indulge and get a couple of MP figures as they are truly amazing!
No chance Ft Omega will be next year, will be lucky if he's the year after too. So far just Grapple and Megatron, add Dirge to the list in time. After that it depends what they do. If the Hoist and Jazz rumours end up being true it'll be most welcome! Third party wise Badcube Grump is the only current third party fig I want I haven't paid for and he could potentially be the last. Depends how Toyworld titan Bruticus and Superion turn out.
Definitely not going to add it up or I'd cry, but all non-beastwars MPs, all Titans Returns, all movie (screen) figures that I don't already have a better version of, and my G1 focus is going to be completing my G1 Headmasters (and finishing my G1 Combiners which was my goal of 2016).
I'm hoping I can actually listen to myself for a change and spend a little less this coming year. I've tried to tell myself that though over the last couple of years to no avail. But with that said, I am planning to continue buying Titans Return figures but only for those characters that have not had a previous release or in need of a better one. For the sake of trying to stay economical, I'll try to stick with Hasbro when I can and only import from Takara if they are releasing a Legends figure the US may not get or if they impress me with their paint scheme alternatives. Not planning on getting any of the TF5 movie toys or so far, nothing I have seen from NuRID has impressed me enough to get. Also plan on getting a few MPs, but specifically, the only one on my must get list at this time is MP Megatron.
With all the great looking figures coming out this year and the 2017 reveals so far, I had to better visualize budgeting for this and well, went overboard. I've prioritized figures I'm interested in to must haves (green), secondary (yellow), and tertiary (red). The monthly numbers really put priority in order.
Before I get to 2017, I second the view that 2016 has been an awesome year! Just checking back on what I picked up in 2016 I thought it might be fun to rate each purchase tech-spec style... Most will disagree with my review scores, but hey, that's all part of the fun! Left to right based chronologically on purchase date: MP27 Shockwave, MP29 Ironhide, FT15 Willis, V01 Spinout, RMX01 Jaguar So on to 2017, it looks like they'll be loads out, but for me, my top 4 right now are: MP11ND Dirge, MP36 Megatron, MP35 Grapple and possibly most excited about MTRM09 Jazz!
From what I'm aware of...I guess my early list of planned purchases would look like... I plan to have Titans Return Hotrod, the wave 3 Titanmasters, Legends Wheelie&Shutago, Optimus and Megatron by the end of the year. My planned out purchases really only go into January. Baldigus, Megatronia, Convobat, SDCC Fort Max and a new TV along with some of the upcoming Lego Batman sets and maybe some Legends TR stuff. Max, the combiners, and Primal I'm hoping to score with xmas money. I know I'm going to keep collecting Generations and Rid throughout the year though.

I am late to the game with new releases for the most part. I do end up purchasing most everything unfortunately (or fortunately). So as a person that lags behind the current releases I will definitely be picking up TR Perceptor. I bought Hot Rod today and he is glorious for $10. I'll have to research what else is coming out I suppose. Trypticon will pretty much be a for sure. Wow, isn't this hobby fun? I've had so much enjoyment with family since I got back into it.
