Transformers Animated began in 2007, ten years ago.

It's been ten years since. It's something to celebrate this TF saga.

YES, WE KNOW TFA'S PILOT MOVIE FIRST AIRED DECEMBER 26,2007 ON THE CN. :)

    10. FRAGGING. YEARS.

Now I feel like I'm growing gray hair in places that shouldn't even grow hair.

Ten years. And probably won't see any Animated celebration or anniversary figs either. :(

Ten years since I became a fan of Transformers. Man I still wished my dad had at least lived long enough that year to see one of those products.

    Prediction for Movieverse 10th Anniversary?

I hadn't thought about it coming up on 10 years.... Wow, still love the series and could/should watch it all over again!!!

    10th Anniversary!!

(Tho it didn't air until December of 2007... this might be a little early, but I'm sure we'll have a front page write up at some point during the year) :)

I believe you're nearly 12 months too early for this anniversary

Hasbro should do a triggerhappy retool into Starscream, Highbrow into Megatron, Kup into Sentinel Prime and Bulkhead respectively and a Henry Masterson Headmaster unit.

I'd love to see something done for the anniversary, but I'd guess much like Animated's original run, It would be overshadowed and crowded out by the movie(s).

Can't believe how fast it went. Graduated high school in May 2007, moved to North Carolina in July 2007, and then in December 2007 watched the debut of the series became my favorite since Beast Wars.

Quite literally all the gains I've made in the ten years I credit to it. I was nearly done with the franchise until I saw it. Now I'm far more active in the fandom, made a lot of friends, and known as an excellent outdoor and toy photographer.

Just a reminder to anyone who somehow has not done this yet: Pick up the collected Allspark Almanac before it goes out of print and is impossible to find for a decent price.

I just praised Sorenson's other book, Legacy, in another thread, but the Allspark Almanac is possibly the greatest single Transformers book ever published. And I say that even though I'm someone who is a bigger G1 fan than anything else. But Allspark Almanac collects and celebrates everything that was great about this wonderful series and its universe. It is an absolute must-own.

Ugh, this is gonna make me slump. Ten years and I still miss this show. A few months ago me and a friend went through the complete Almanac and just admired all the designs. TFA was really something special. Everything about that show was so diligently. The characters and designs and toys were all carefully designed to work across all mediums. I really miss that, and I hate that we don't have that level of collaboration between the TV shows and toys. Aside from just producing better toys, it really showed that the designers cared about, y'know, transformation and it wasn't just a token gimmick to be figured out later.

Man, I still remember watching it...

While it went on a high note it still had so much untapped potential... 'Sigh'

I should try and get the Almanac...
