This season has been crazy so far. Only 2 things you can count on so far, the Giants are really good, and the cowardly Lions are REALLY BAD. The Lions may not win a game. I see alot of give-up on the field against the Bears.

Nothing about these Dolphins reminds me of Dan Marino.

Or maybe it's because they're ACTUALLY winning games.

to match Marino's win record from his first year as a starter, they'd have win their next 12 games and finish 14-2. additionally, Marino set the records for passing yards, TDs, and completions for a season that year. right now the Dolphins are 10th in the league in passing with 4 passing TDs (average of one per game, meaning they'd finish the season with about 1/3 of what Marino did). so once again, the current Dolphins don't evoke the memory of Marino

I never said they where matching or going to match any of Marino's records. I just said it's a nice turn around from last year when they where 1 and 15.

My buddy has Kevin Smith and Calvin Jackson on his fantasy team. I laugh at him often.

Dolphins Schmolphins. I can't believe the Bears blew it. Great 2-minute drill to go up by one with 10 seconds left in the 4th; a shitty kick and a pass that shouldn't have been allowed to happen and boom, they're at .500 instead of 4-2. That's three games lost by a combined 8 points. *Le sigh.*

How did the Skins play so poorly against the Rams? I used their Defense/Special Teams in 4 of my fantasy teams and I was hoping for better performance.

Man, there were a lot of great games and great moments today. I got to see most of the games with last minute wins... exciting week.

Chargers win... Yeah buddy! Boy, a win just gives the week such a great positive spin.

The better question might be how did the Texans manage to win?

After last week I was convinced they were unbeatable at failing.

I cannot believe that the Falcons pulled it out. Bad. Ass.

They better get their kicker a high priced hooker tonight.

And the end of the Cowboys / Cardinals game was outstanding as well.

That was absolutely the worst time for the Patriots to have to play the Chargers...everyone here just knew that team was a buzzsaw, desperate for a win and primed for revenge against the Pats for knocking them out of the playoffs 2 years in a row.

This has so far been a very interesting football year, and I'm very curious to see how it all shakes out...three of the biggest AFC powerhouse franchises are struggling and it's created an interesting situation. Despite the Patriots being one of those, I'm enjoying football in general this year just because it's been so unpredictable.

It was a rare weekend in which the Chiefs didn't lose.

Actually, that's not true. Tony Gonzalez wants out of that hell-hole now.

    Dammit, Carl! :banghead: :mad
