Capcom vs. Marvel was cool too; of course even though I liked all these games, I never was good at any of them.

You don't have to be good at something to like it. Jack Thompson taught us that about being a lawyer.

I think my favorite of all time, or at least the one I actually played the most against another person was street fighter alpha 2 on my saturn in college. however, I got fighters megamix, and left it on for days, to be able to have fun stuff like this:

Props to the Twist for mentioning Waku Waku 7. I'm horrible at it but love playing it. Bonus-kun FTW!

My main fighters are King of Fighters '03, Samurai Showdown IV, and Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves. I dropped a lot of quarters on SSIV and MotW back when the Super-1 had a NeoGeo cabinet.

:lolol  I still laugh at Sega's feeble attempts at bringing Sonic back to his prime, even though he was already screwed the moment he made the jump to 3D.

[Nintendo Fanboyism]Mario was always better than that meth-head hedgehog[/Nintendo Fanboyism]

Best fighting game? Easy. Super Smash Bros. All three games: SSB for N64, Super Smash Bros Melee for Gamecube, and I KNOW I'll love Super Smash Bros Brawl for Wii.

What? I'm a Nintendo fan. Sue me. :p

Minus the bugs and bad camera angles, Sonic Adventure was an incredible start into 3D, and it was highly acclaimed. Lack of time, money, and clear direction kept Sega from building successfully on that start.

Sega really needs to take the Nintendo model to heart, if it isn't going to be at it's best on release day, delay it. Nintendo's delayed dozens of titles and by the time they're out they're always the best on the system. It's their franchise, Sega lives and dies by the Hedgehog, it's worth spending as much effort as they can spare.

But speaking of bad business decisions and staying on topic... Shaq-Fu!

I remember a fighter for the 3DO called Ballz. It was kinda fun but really weird in it's execution.

A delayed game is good eventually, a bad game is bad forever.
It was on the SNES as well, and also the Genesis, if I remember correctly. It was the first "3D" fighting game I remember seeing.

You have not lived until you have absolutely humiliated someone by A) Air-comboing them with a Serv-Bot or B) Killed them with Dan's Anti-Hell-Murder.

Though for sure awesomeness my favorite is the ol Air-Combo into Air Hell-Murder with Mech-Gouki in Marvel Vs Street Fighter.
