A co worker told me her boyfriend owned these and I've never heard of them. My boyfriend is a huge collector of Transformers and Star wars.[IMG]

Can anyone please tell me the name of this item? I would love to try and find it to buy for him.
    Thanks so much!!

It has to be fortress maximus. There is a reissue at bbts.com, tfsource.com and other places.

Fortress Maximus was about 2 feet. That was the biggest buy a foot.

Just want to say, Fort Max (who is the only Transformer that comes close to your description) is extremely expensive, although the recent release of his Encore figure has lowered the prices a little.

Fort Max is the only 80s figure that comes close to 2 ft. He's 22 inches tall.

Could this be one of those misremembered youth things?

Over the years I've heard stories from people saying things like they had a 2 to 4 feet tall Transformer, and their descriptions are all normally G1 Scorponok or G1 Metroplex.

In most cases it's just people over-fondly remembering their childhood toys.

It's a similar situation to when people say that the original Masterpiece Prime is the same one they had as a kid.

    Rogun isn't 2 feet tall.

he's only 16 inches tall with stock(legs) fully extended.
