I've been wanting to get a hair cut since before this whole thing started.
Here in Panama, as I write this, men are allowed to go out on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while women are allowed to go out Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Sundays, movement restriction for everyone that is not essential and doesnt has a special permission to move to work.
Now, remember when I told you that men had certain days to go out while women had some others? Well, its not like you can go out whenever you want, but you can go out according to the last number of your ID. My ID ends in 7, so I can only circulate during 7 in the morning. Half an hour before to go (6:30) and half an hour to go back home (8:30). Basically, you can only move 6 hours per week.
Thats how life is working here in Panama.
Looks like starting June 1st, we will be able to go out with no restrictions other than being at home before 7 pm.
Is she a vegetarian?
sounds convoluted and unworkable.
One thing this whole crisis has shown is that there are so many people who don't even grasp the basics. There are a lot of rules and exceptions that could be made to accommodate different situations, but with people being people you get chaos and confusion. Best to keep it simple and encourage basic compliance and common sense(if such a thing even exists).
My local barber shop is only doing appointments.
I have one today for 1:30pm.
First thing I'm doing is going to Olive Garden with my best friend and enjoying a fancy dining
Just cut it yourself, it isn't that hard.
I got my haircut I answered with pages ago, on the first day my usual place reopened by pure chance. There's other things like having dinner at my favorite restaurant or going to Frank and Sons, but while those are options now, I rather wait on those. Other places I'd go to for fun still won't reopen for a while at this time, no hurry.
From Thursday my birthday
Im craving those ribs again
Finally got a real haircut in over 6 months.
I just took clippers on the next to shortest blade setting and shaved it all off. I have little tiny fuzz coming out of my scalp, by comparison, to what I used to have. It feels amazing, looks weird (I've never ever had my hair cut this short before in my life), and it'll be weird to see how it grows over the next few months. I'm used to having hair to comb, even after a cut, so this is all new territory for me.
Honestly not much changed for me. I stayed working and was able to do most of what I wanted despite restrictions. Opening allows my vacation, so basically I'll do whatever I want. Except go to prom. Prom is gone forever.
I'll get the "no soliciting" sign. The bigger and flashier one, the better.
Go to the movies. Last thing I saw in theaters was Birds of Prey and that’s one of my favorite activities. Do t. Are what’s playing but going to see something.
