I'd try to buy a G1 Mirage or Wheeljack. What is the location for the next Botcon?

 

Well since I only had less than $30 to spend at my first Botcon (that was this year), I bought the cheapest things I could find that weren't super-common online. Im this case, that ended up being a few of the better Beast Machines toys. Battle Unicorn for $3 and no shipping =  

 

I've never been to a Botcon either. Once I have an idea of the location, and if it's feasible to go, then I'll plan accordingly. So, assuming my dealer room budget was about $50, I'd go for a nice Japanese piece I can't quite so easily secure from the luxury of a computer. Like BWN Sharpedge or one of the Blendtrons. I'd probably also go for a "gag" souvenier, like Twin Twist or Wheelie, maybe even Moon if I found it.

Not to mention convention exclusives themselves... mmm.

 

First thing to buy: G1 Reissue Jazz, I don't think i would afford an original G1 jazz

 

I think the very first thing I would get would be a coffee, then I could wander around more relaxed in fan boy euphoria.

 

I'd go for all the exclusives . Then go back to the hotel , get some food , check em out then send em home. Then go back and head straight for ther Gen1's , rinse and repeat.
Then im set on roam

 

The coffee was free this year. So was the booze
 

 

I actually changed it to coffee from whisky just before posting, cos I was thinking how early does this thing start... but to hell with it, given I would have to cross a time zone to get there I can use that and jet lag as an excuse for being smashed before lunch.    

 

I would buy Twin Twist a drink!

 

If anyone had one, a crystal chase PVC Rodimus w/matrix. Other than that, whatever rare/expensive pieces I can find for a good enough price. Though I doubt I'll even hit a Botcon, since Cybercon is always nearby. I don't seem them both being in the same area in the same year.

 

The first thing I bought this year was G1 Starsaber. I wanted to get that sorted right off the bat, since it was the one toy I'd gone there looking for.

The first thing I got this year was a BT Police Prowl

 

I've never been to Botcon either. I usually opt to go to the San Diego Comic-con instead.

The first thing I would buy? Very difficult to say -- I'd shop all the dealers for the lowest price on my "most wanteds." But if I could buy only 1 TF, it'd be a G1 Shockwave--loose but in good condition. If on the first day I didn't find my price on anything I wanted, I'd probably wait until the last day of Botcon to buy stuff when dealers are much more willing to negotiate.

 

I think for my second Botcon I'm gonna save up at least two entire paychecks to blow on the dealers room. I will have a botgasm.

 

Well, the first thing I really wanted to buy is the Hard Hero Jazz Bust. But alas nobody had it.   It's still eluding me to this day.

The first item I paid for was Botcon Ratchet. Which is a awesome.   On the convention floor it was, the pewter Jazz PVC.
