Ah, the Magical world where you only see the background, and you catch glimpses of the action, but no one can see you, only you can see them. And just when you think you are starting to understand this world, the background starts feedbacking and streaking across your screen. You got General Zodd-ed. :lol

Ah, falling off the map because you become too preoccupied with the task at hand. Good, hilarious times.

I always seem to fall for that. Back up, shoot, back up, shoot, back up, shoo-WAAAAAAAAHAHAHOOOOOIIIIIEEEE....

I know what he's talking about I was refering to Prowl's comment on how he once jumped off a platform thinking another was below him.

I myself haven't encountered that. Usually the only time I fall through a level is after I'm dead. My remains sometimes desolve through the floor and all you see is blue and grey panels.

I stopped playing. I don't really have any time to play online with anyone. The campaign was a lot of fun, though. Great single player storyline. Lots of fun.

I had so many cheap deaths in this game that way. Much like in Dante's Inferno, if I had stats of all my deaths, it was usually jumping off crap to my death because I had poor depth perception in those busy-ass surroundings.

The first time that happened to me was in Driver PS1. I drove into a wall so hard that I went through the building. I wandered around inside the nexus of the building for 50 years before slowly dissolving into nothing.

I love the game, but I'm a TF fan. So - I kinda HAVE to like it. And I play it alot... but it DOES have plenty of issues. My main gripe is the gimmick where I'll seemingly randomly just stick to things - floors, walls, etc. That's annoying.

There's a bad spot for that on Molten, right near "B" on Conquest - if you walk out of the building and just walk toward "B", you'll get stuck on a crack in the floor. But you can drive over it, or jump over it. But if you walk, like, with a Soldier firing a giant cannon at the enemy, yeah - you get stuck for some reason and they'll just kill ya. :p

Took a break for a few weeks but the dlc got me back into it. Been playing multiplayer frequently again. I actually never bothered with the scientist class until after the dlc came out, but now it's become my favorite. The game is very different when you can fly, lol.

I hear the player base has dropped vastly since the release. Is it hard to find a game using the DLC maps?

The random map selection kind of makes it hard regardless of how many people are on IMO. I wish they would give the option of hosting a public match and letting the host choose the map. (but then you get people that only play on ONE certain map!)

I don't own the game, but I went to Best Buy to try it out. Didn't like it. I have tried a few times since then, still couldn't get into it.

out of curiosity what are the online numbers right now?

I'm seeing close to 2000 and once 2500 when ive logged on to psn from Australia between 11-2am since about july 28.

just been playing escalation and campaign coop online, probably won't play multiplayer.

    are these number normal?

    what are the xbox numbers?

for popularity comparison, anyone know what the unchartered 2 and Gears of war numbers were?

Excluding the double XP weekend there are generally about 3,000-4,000 people on 360.

I've been seeing this happen a lot lately, mostly on Leaders & Scouts.
I've unloaded a full clips from Ol' Painless, and they simply wouldn't die...

Ditto. I've put the game down for a while to renew my wanting to play it.
