With the release of the movie's 30th anniversary as of recent and the many 3rd party masterpiece style megatrons I want to revisit this historical moment of all Transformers. The Final
battle between the 2 leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Capture with full spirit of the animated movie from 1986, I recreated all the scars and battle damage these 2 has done to each
    other during their battle.

Megatron was made from Make Toys - MTRM-08 Despotron, My favorite from the few 3rd party megatrons that been release as of recently, love his bulkness that really makes him very imposing appearance which he should always be. The different face expressions really helps bringing this figure to life, especially the smirk face that brings that "Its Over Prime" moment that much closer. Like Optimus he too been given a full battle worn all around to resemble much of the cracking from the movie, particular around the head/shoulder area. Also recreated his crushed chest piece which was the final devastating hit Optimus managed to give him at the end of their battle. He has been also fully repainted in G1 animated colors and gave a full weather effect all around to bring out all the new details of the battle.

    Nice!
BTW you can turn the end of the barrel on his back so the sight faces forward like it is supposed to instead of the screw hole facing forward.

You took something OLD that was made NEW and made it OLD again!

In all seriousness though spectacular work. A little paint and $150 plastic toys are literally transformed into pieces that look like $300 statues.
