Check out the 4th link on the 1984 catalog. Even when they were ridiculously simple, they were still mistransformed!

Centurions - NIIIIICE! I loved those things... and the cartoon.

God, those scans bring back sooooooo many memories. I remember getting so anxious whenever the X-Mas catalogues would come out specifically because of Transformers.

And wow, I forgot exactly how many of those large Go-Bots I actually had. And the Star Wars figures. And the He-Man figures.

Haha, I love how incredibley mistransformed some of the TF's are in the 1984 catalogue, especially Prime. Guess that's an age old tradition for Hasbro :)

Man, those pages just make me nostalgic. Seeing the Transformers, Voltron, and especially that complete Super Powers Hall of Justice playset just makes my nipples hard.

Thanks for the link! I remember looking at these every Christmas. I used to circle everything I wanted, and usually it was the whole Transformers section. :)

Don't remember the other stuff, but I do remember seeing the one "Built up from lots of little vehicles" robot (number 24 on that page) under the "Kronoform" title back in the eighties (and in the USA)

Cool find, I love looking at old toy catalogs, I wish I'd kept some of them from when I was a kid.

Is it just me, or was the production values on these things higher than now? I mean the photos make the toys look soooooooo cool, even though some of them aren't as awesome in person.

    Check this out...

    Good times, good times.....

Unbelievable how many memories all of those scans bring forth. Besides the usual (like TF and MotU), there's M.A.S.K., Silverhawks, Centurions, M.U.S.C.L.E. men, Visionaries....just a ton of things I don't think much about anymore, but seeing those images brings back memories of the toys I had (or wanted), the cartoons, even commercials that vaguely come to mind.

Great stuff. Thanks for the link!

No matter how many times I see G1 catalogs, I always feel like a kid when I do.

That aircraft carrier was effin huge. As a kid, you could fit inside the 3 sections that made up the bottom. I remember playing with that in the pool and utterly destroying it by trying to use it as a surfboard.

    Ahh nostalgia.

    LOL. Did it actually float?

I cant believe the price for MISB Fort Max has increased almost tenfold.
Was he hard to find in the US? Never saw him in the UK or Ireland

Damn, I forgot just how many toy lines had a giant action base thingamajig to go with them. Seems to be something that just doesn't happen these days.
