    If i may add a suggestion, instead of closing up the back of the eyes, get some rechargeable cat lasers and put them in so he can have the death mode look. they come in a 2 pack for pretty cheap. you can even get one for his shoulder mounted laser.

    Heres what I'm talking about. i bought these for my cats. and they come with a flash light for illuminating his eyes if you wanted them white or blue

    So now that Minimal "Johnny-5's" got poseable-eyebrows, here's just a few expressions he can do. [​IMG] Thinkin of doing something with red light-piping for the eyes for battle-mode. This is not a commission, so I'm not sure about that yet. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    So I listened to feedback on a possible "battle-mode" red-eye gimmick for Johnny, but I wanted it to be as simple as possible without getting too involved. Even LED setups require battery-changes from time to time, and I still would've had to get creative to cram it in there without being too heavy or intrusive...... So last-night I tried a simple double-barrel setup using 2 clear acrylic-rods conjoined by a clear acrylic-strip that you could take in & out. Wasn't a feature that was critical, but I thought it would be a really nice gimmick if I could pull it off without too much trouble. [​IMG] So now with the right lighting, I got some nice red optional light-piping going-on to give Johnny a meaner-look for battle-mode! [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    For the exception of paint, Minimal "Johnny-5" build is pretty much finally done! Made some minor-tweaks today to the shoulders, mouth & waist. Now to DISASSEMBLE, prime & paint! Happy to finally get this fun little side-project done.
