Poor kid, that sucks on super effective levels Don't know what really happened, but it takes a bit of pressure to accelerate your car, even so if it's a larger vehicle. The kid must've not been driving long to accidentally floor it and pin his dad against a tree.
eh back in the day kids learned to drive WAY earlier than the age of 13, more like the age of 8 or so. it is sad to hear that the father died, but he should have been in that passenger seat in case the boy lost control
Unlikely the child will be charged, eh? I should think so. I can't believe anyone would even suggest it. The father was irresponsible. Sad, its true, but his own fault.
This was my first thought too. The rest of the story is just dumbassery. Seriously, did anyone know Porsche made SUV's? EDIT: I just did a Google Image search.. Ugh, it looks like a 911 fucked a PT Cruiser and had a baby.
Yes, I knew, because I work at a VW dealership, and that Porsche SUV is made by VW, overall, it is a Tourag with a different outer body. Started being made the same time Tourags were in 2003. He shouldn't of been flooring it to park a car...now, I am in no way taking sides on this. It is sad that the dad died, yet he shouldn't of let the kid start practicing driving on a SUV of all things...granted the first thing I learned to drive on was a huge dump truck at about the age of 8. Ok, that one kinda makes my point towards the kid starting on a SUV irrelevant...some got it some don't...either way, yeah, should of been in the passenger seat.
I'd say this was Darwinism, but unfortunately he's already bred. You need a new irony detector, it appears.
I dunno there's a story about a 7 year old driving a car pretty well in utah while trying to get out of church kid drove around for awhile and eventually drove back home while being pursued by POLICE lol. Then there's that kid who stole like 4 cars trying to get to an airport in which he succeeded at and got on like 2 planes and went to texas. Human beings need to be properly gauged. If this 13 year old has never been in the drivers seat before take him to an emptyish parking lot and teach him there. That's what my dad did when I was 16.
Very tragic and the poor kid will be scarred for life, but it was entirely the dad's fault for putting himself in such danger so I don't feel sorry for him, only his family.
