Should be 2nd degree murder, not first.
Holy shit...that's terrible, the poor girl. What's going to happen to the kid who beat her to death? He's old enough to be tried in a court (I'm not sure which one, this is rather extreme).
who lets a 12 year old babysit?
Lots of my friends that are around 13 babysit
That kid is a douchebag, this shows that kids are such couch potatoes these days, killing toddlers for television
Man i hate shit like this. What are they supposed to do, hold him till he's 18 then let him go? Give him 20 years? 40? life? He murdered a baby, and even at twelve he should understand what happens when you hit someone with a bat, espcially an infant. I feel sick.
This world is hell,Im thinking that this world we live in is hell and when we die and if we was good on this hell we live on we go to heaven and if we were a peice of shit like this 12 year old we are reincarnated untill they get thier shit together.
Stuff like this makes me not even wanna walk down the street I might look at someone the wrong way and get beat with a lead pipe or something.
I dont know whats worse, this or the fact that things like this dont phase me any more
A toddler killed by a 12-year old?!
That's downright horrible. What the hell is wrong with kids these days?
What a shithead. Crispy critter 'em!
Pretty much lies in what the media has to offer (video games, TVs and that), maybe the parents/upbringing they had or what my grandpa said and that the additives and junk they put in kids foods these days. Or maybe, sadly they were just born to be like that...it's disgusting I know...
Well I remember when I was about 11 that we did a news article on something very sick, a kid pushed a 6-year-old off the cliff to his death after a confrontation over something. The 6-year-old was scared and pleaded the other kid to stop I think but the kid said "bad luck" and pushed the poor victim off the cliff.
Kids today are just SO spoiled they're literally monsters.=P
Their parents are too busy to teach them right from wrong leave then alone at home, they learn their values from bad tv shows(the ones they shouldn't be watching) Then after crap like this the parents blame the tv rather than themselves.
I wonder what the toddler's parents will do....
The only thing effects me anymore is when things happen to kids.
is it just me or this type of shitty news comes mostly from the US?
im not saying theres anything wrong with US that other countries dont suffer from, but its just that, this kinda news smells like sensationalism.
This is why I plan to babysit my own kids.
I don't have kids yet. But I can't seriously fathom anything that is so important to me that I can't bring my kids along.
Granted we don't know the details yet about what exactly happened but I'd at least have an adult or someone older watching over my kids.
Of course this may a be a freak case but to me a 12 year old is not responsible enough to entrust with other kids, LET ALONE A FRICKEN 17 MONTH OLD BABY.
I find it hard to believe the US is the only place this kinda things happen, but we seem to love to talk about everything bad and violent.
Anyways, while this is absolutely horrible, I tell you, the scream of a baby can be ear piercing. While a stable person can get extrememly annoyed (even an adult, especially someone who doesn't have kids), someone of lesser stability could easily snap in frustration and lash out. For a 12 year old swinging a bat, only one quick hit could kill it, and this article saying "beat to death" sounds a little different then one kid (12 is still a kid) hitting a smaller kid too hard. I am certainly not defending this, but I don't think this 12 year old has to be the salivating monster and fall of mankind everyone wants to say he is.
Otherwise, I take it upon myself to be very protective over family and friends, and stuff like this really tells you that you can't be too careful.
I'm quite sure this stuff has been happening throughout history, but that doesn't make it any less horrible.
