    Lots of folks are celebrating this historic repeat date by buying lottery tickets or getting married. Guess many folks feel this date is a very lucky date...
    ....so...what did you do to celebrate this once in a lifetime date??

    Many parents are hoping their child will be born on this date... saw on the news that one kid turned 12 on 12/12/12 at 12:12 am....kinda hard to beat that combo.

    Also noticed tons of 12 hour deals on some websites and 12cent shipping. Of course, I've already bought everything I can think of and got free shipping anyway. :thumb 


    Me, paid some bills, worked, rec'd some Xmas gifts, watching a little telly...a big day. :D

    My Spanish teacher gave us all candy to celebrate it. It's completely unrelated, but I should mention that today was a lucky day because I found out I was one of the winners of my school's Voice of Democracy essay contest and I got a plaque and $75 for it. It was an awesome day.

    I sat in a Courthouse and read an extremely old (Just younger than Star Wars) and battered (1/5 the front cover is torn off and the back cover is held onto the book by Scotch Tape, Seriously, This book looks like it came back from some Epic Journey to toss enchanted Jewelery into a Volcano) softcover copy of "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring"

    Sat around, got a headache, and was only marginally successful at my attempts at studying. Also watched some anime and played some Minecraft. Planning to watch Doctor Who later tonight. Still not over my headache yet.
