This custom battle damage Alt. Silverstreak is special for a few reasons...

First off, this is for sale here in this thread silent auction style (See details below).

When I started customizing and brought my work to the 'net the very first chap to contact me was vector, he was very enthusiastic about my customs and wanted to set up a trade between us. After seeing his work I jumped at the chance to own a Magnus Alt. He had mentioned he wanted a battle damage Silverstreak (or Skids), unfortunately that trade never happened, I suspect we were both busy trying to make a little extra money at the time, selling our work due to life's little bumps in the road.(Or at least I was anyway)
His enthusiasm & inspiration will never be forgotten and I thank him for that.

I promised the kitbash community a Battle Damage Tutorial for Jan. '08 featuring Silverstreak.
I'm still finishing up the tutorial but this is the very figure featured throughout the tutorial ! (I'll post a link when finished - another day or 2)

I planned on keeping this special figure (as I rarely do) but I thought it would be best to try to help vector's family out in their time of need, especially because this was the one he wanted me to make for him...

Does it still transform? Do you have pics of vehicle mode if it does?

 

Yes. No.

 

TTT's custom should not be transformed. But still a great addition to any collection.

 

Another fantastic job TTT....and very noble of you to do this.. 

And yes Omegatron1.... it will still transform....I have a Zombie Silverstreak from TTT...he does awesome work....just as with any custom, you have to be careful transforming it is all....

Nah, but I'm very thankful for vector's enthusiasm towards my work when I first started and his work convinced me to branch out and do repaints as well (nice shiny robots ! ...well sorta.)
