too bad, everything "new" and "preorder" is/are excluded and as always, all the good stuff are either "new" or "preorder".
no kidding XD but at least i found an item i really wanted that was on sale and i had funds available for.
Yeah I thought Id check out a couple items that Ive been tring to find a little cheaper and apparently Alternity Black Megatron is new but the blue one is not. lol.
for the reasons posted above, BBTS sales are not even worth posting. I love the store but the sales are weak lol. They have those bogus sales, similar to what department stores do when they try to clear out old clothes. "Regular Price 19.99" "SALE PRICE 19.99" Sure its in all caps but how much did you really save?
i love the fact most items are still 5-10% higher than msrp even after 30-50% off 'clearance'. i like bbts for their hold the loot system but their sales usually aren't that great. usually the only real deals they have are the clearance of the current line that's just ending before the next line coming full swing, currently it's the animated and rotf line, you can get about 10% off retail price if you're welling to buy them by the assortment cases with the figures you already have or don't want. there're really no deals for toys 2+ year old; look at their cybertron/energon inventories, most items going near double retail even the crappy scouts/less desirable ones are priced way more than fmv.
^^ well they have to recoup the space cost for holding those crappy items in warehouse for 2+ years, the way I see it. Still "NEW" though, especially in case of a sales event.
well, BBTS is not ALWAYS crappy on sales; On July 4th they had a 20% sale, and I was able to nab something that's normally 300$ or so for 170. (BBTS already had reasonable price before 20%)... so maybe they haven't gotten around to changing everything yet?
