Neutrons Stars Have Crusts of Super-Steel | Universe Today

I wonder if the surface is stronger because of the density of the material? Or if the material itself has a unique chemical composition that makes it so strong.

 

I imagine both but probably more the density

What does destiny have to do with stars? Density, I can see, but destiny?

 

Die cast construction... it's a lost art.

 

I'm skeptical of science that wasn't proven up close, or measured directly by means that uses the same properties that measures them.
